KEITH LUBRANT SIGNS WITH DREAMSCAPE MUSIC GROUP, APPEARS ON COMPILATION CD'S:
Internet success stories in the music business are commonplace these days. Welcome Keith LuBrant, a New Jersey singer / songwriter starting to create a world wide buzz on the world wide web.
Raised on heavy doses of classic rock as well as the Gin Blossoms, Mike Viola, Cheap Trick and Bon Jovi, LuBrant parlayed his youthful love of music into a burgeoning career when he joined his first band, The Innocent in 1990. "The Innocent was a good starting point for me." relates LuBrant, "It gave me a chance to hone my songwriting ability a little."
With Face In The Crowd, Keith LuBrant walks the same line as the Goo Goo Dolls, Blink 182 and SR-71 and unleashes a powerful set of songs dripping with melody and loaded with punch. Tracks such as Misunderstood (an infectious groove that starts from the beginning of the tune), All I Want To Be (an energetic, hook filled pop/rock song), Midnight Once Again (a slower, softer acoustic tune) and Lonely Sunday (a great combination of harmony and melody) jump off of the disc at you demanding to be in heavy rotation in your CD player.
Already in 2002 Keith has been named "Artist Of The Month" on the following websites The Cutting Edge, Jersey Jams and Kweevak's Tracks and the track "All I Want To Be" has been selected to appear on the 'Pop Under The Surface Vol.5' compilation CD released by Yesterday Girl Records. He has also appeared on Warmth In The Wilderness II; A Tribute To Jason Becker, released by Lion Music and United We All Come Together, a charity album in aid of the 9/11 tragedy.
'Face In The Crowd' will be released by Dreamscape Music Group on August 27, 2002. World renowned producer and engineer Mikey Davis will re-mix the album. The single, All I Want To Be, will be serviced to radio in early August.

|Little River Band|
LITTLE RIVER BAND CHANGES LINE UP AGAIN:
With many thanks to Melbourne rock icon John Dokken, here's an update on the Little River Band re-union:
JD says: "Looks like the original members of LRB won't be reforming in their entirety as reported in some Oz publications a few months ago. Spent the day with one of the original members yesterday and got an insight to some of it. Seems at the 11th hour vocalist Glen Shorrock threw a tantrum and vowed never to work with drummer Derek Pellicci ever again.
Other members have since also been given the boot freeing up more money for those that will be involved. Apparently the revised version of Little River Band will be the three singers - These being Shorrock, Beeb Birtles, and Graham Goble) with session players filling the remaining spots for album and tour work. John Farnham manager Glenn Wheatley will manage the project which is tipped to make mega US dollars.
Naming rights will still be an interesting point of matter as latter day guitarist Stephen Housden bought the Little River Band name from Pellicci many years ago. It is tipped he will sell the name back to three original members...."
Could the upcoming George Lynch / Jeff Pilson collaboration be released under the band name Pynch?
LAST TRIBE BACK AND WITCH DANCING FOR NEW ALBUM:
Frontiers Records / Now & Then Productions are pleased to announce that Witch Dance, the second album from the much praised Swedish neoclassic prog-metal band Last Tribe has finally been completed.
Guitarist Magnus Karlsson and singer Rickard Bengtsson are this time working with a brand new rhythm section featuring the new bass player Dick Löwgren and the new drummer Jaime Salazar (Flower Kings).
This is the final track listing of Witch Dance: The Gathering (Intro) . Witch . Messenger . Bring Out The Brave . Wash Your Sins Away . Behind Your Eyes . Wake Up The World . Man Of Peace . The Eternal Curse . Agadir (instrumental) . Dreamer.
It's about 1 hour of incredible music, melodic metal with progressive elements! Magnus is still the main songwriter, which guarantees strong melodies and tasteful arrangements together with powerful guitars.
The label says "We dare to say that this will be a strong contestant for next 'album of the year' for the melodic metal fans".
