Hardline`s Double Eclipse, no chance for any other Band !!!!!
24/06/04: Chris - cfhastings28@hotmail.com
I would have to say that Ozzy Ozzbourne has been one of the most influencial in rock music to this day. Look at Black Sabath and Zeplin that first started that type of rock music. Hendrix inspired a lot of musicians including Edie Vanhallen and George Lynch, and Warren D Martini. Lets not forget about Joe Satriani the teacher of Steve Vai, Kirk Hamet, and John Petrouci. Journey has my vote also there guitarist is an awsome soloer and went solo to make the Hardline double eclipse. The lead guitarist from the band Giant who is now an MIT professor. Most of the members from Kiss are MIT professors also. I also like the guitar playing ability of Richard Marx's lead guitarist. Example "Angelia", and "Wait for the sunrise". As well as Bad Co. The first to the swan song record label. Mick Ralphs is a monster guitarist.
I also like Def Leapard that steve has awsome playing ability.

Even though my favourite Whitesnake album is either "Come An'Get It" or "Ready An' Willing" this one is more groundbreaking in the hard rock genre. Just think about the MTV circa 87-88 and the copy cats e.g House Of Lords.

Well van halen changed rock, Zepplin surely did, both of their 70's work is before I was old enough to appreciate the new ground they each broke. In the 80's you had AC/DC back In Black that broke it all wide open as far as that type of rock going commercial. GnR broke a new ground with Appetite, and Nirvana did the same with Nevermind. Def Leppard w/ Mutt Lange redefined hard rock with Pyromania! But I have to say that as far as I am concerned the album that changed the music the most in the 80's was Hysteria! It changed the sound for more than just hard rock but for many generes of music, and the studio work changed music as well. let's not forget 8 hit singles!! Hands down my choice! back when the band was redefining and not chasing, fads.
