I have to go with the Leppard boys(+Mutt) on this one. Take the big 3 in the 80's, High n Dry, Pyromania, and Hysteria and they get the nod! They really still can write anything as they have proven, now if they could add some maturity and rock back to the mix. Also I have to mention Blades and Keagy from Night Ranger, and I think Sammy Hagar is one of the better ones as well.
