The best show I have ever seen was just a few days ago! It was, of course, Rush at Hershey, PA. I have not heard a concert sound that good in a REALLY long time!!!! I want to see them again, NOW!

First I must say that I´m not that old to have the possibility to see any good bands in the 80´s.. The first concert I went to was Europe i the Globe Arena in Stockholm. That was the best show I´ve ever seen.. until I saw DIO for the second time in Västerås this year. The reason it became so good was that the sound guy was a complete idiot.. and instead to take out his anger he preformed the gig of his lifetime! I´ve seen many shows with him on VCR and DVD! This was by far the best!! Amazing.. I feel sorry for you guys that missed it.

THE CROWD WENT BALLISTIC FROM THE TIME THE DOORS OPENENED.EVERYONE WAS OUT OF CONTROL AND THE VENUE MANAGER HAD TO SCREAM THRUOGH THE MIC IN ORDER TO SETTLE US DOWN.IT GOT TO THE STAGE WHERE WE WERE FORCED TO SIT ON THE GROUND LIKE SCHOOL CHILDREN.ONCE THEY WERE ON IT WAS ABSOLUTE MAYHEM,SEBASTIAN WAS SO PUMPED THAT IT FUELLED THE CROWD INTO A FRENZY.5000 ROCKERS STICKING THEIR MIDDLE FINGERS UP AND THE FRONT AREA WAS SO SQUASHED THAT THE VENUE REQUESTED THAT EVERYONE TAKE TWO STEPS BACK,BUT SEBASTIAN SAID " FUCK IT TAKE TWO STEPS FORWARD".SEEING 3000 KIDS MOVE FORWARD WAS CRAZY AS KIDS WERE CONSISTENLY POPPING OUT FROM THE FRONT BARRIERS LIKE POPCORN.IT WAS ONLY A 80 MIN SHOW BUT WE WERE EXHAUSTED AND HAD NO VOICES LEFT.IT WAS ALSO THE FIRST TIME THEY PERFORMED GET THE FUCK OUT.SEB IS AN AWESOME FRONTMAN AND MANIAC.

Not only does the concert and bands have alot to do with it, but the time and place, in your life and in theirs. This one is easy: Def Leppard/Tesla Hysteria Tour. Dec 5th! I've seen hundred's of shows and this one still stands out! Another 80's show that stands out is the Cinderella Long Cold Winter Tour, with Winger! perfect! Got to see the janet jackson Rhythm nation tour WOW! One that comes clsoe is the recent Bon Jovi Bounce show, I never got to see them in the 80's or since, and it was worth the wait. It always helps to have a known opening act to>> Hello DL!

I have seen and worked 100s of shows as a stage hand and fan for some 20 years...to this day the RAINBOW show in 1982(Straight Between the Eyes tour) still stands out. Blackmore played his guitar with the cord..the p.a. stacks...you name it! Amazing sounds and sights...this guy is a true master of the electric guitar. Do I need to mention Joe Lynn Turner on vocals? DAMN SHAME these guys ended this band. Must also say ANY Aerosmith show is always a kick ass Rock&Roll party!!

08/10/02: Richard - richami9@aol.com

BRYAN ADAMS. April 1, 2000. I have NEVER heard a 3 piece band sound so good (Bryan played bass). And they did SO much material. I counted 27 songs. And it spanned EVERYTHING. From some cuts from the "On a Day Like Today" record all the way back to "Remember" from his self titled 1980 album and one of my all time favorite songs... "Lonely Nights" from 1981's You Want It You Got It record. KILLER SHOW!

I'm with Beavis with the Ozzy gig. I was there and when Zakk ran through the crowd during his shred solo you couldn't help but smile.

29/08/02: dogga - beavis1@optusnet.com.au
Marvelous 3 at The Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne.
Small venue, band toured as a promo tour.... energy for a 3 piece was sensational.

For sheer legend status, Ozzy in 1998 at Festival Hall was massive. Zakk on guitar, Mike Inez on bass and Randy (rip) on drums.... huge.
