Artist Bio
Perfect for fans of Kamelot, Symphony X, Angra and Sonata Arctica! Artwork by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Iced Earth]. Guest appearance by Leandro Cacoilo [ex. Eterna]

Vandroya is definitely one of the most exciting new names in metal today, as well as one of the best kept secrets from Brazil. Led by the fantastic vocalist Daisa Munhoz [Soulspell] they bring something new to the melodic metal table with their epic progressive power metal.

Formed in 2001, Vandroya started as a band of young musicians that were all very passionate about heavy metal. Initially focused on playing cover versions of the bands that inspired them, the increasing involvement with the metal scene in Brazil led them to record their first demo. The "Within Shadows" EP was released in 2005 and helped the word of Vandroya to be spread and to get shows around Brazil.

Late 2010 Vandroya started to record their debut album "One" that we now present to you. The album was mixed and mastered by Heros Trench [Korzus] and the artwork is created by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Iced Earth]. Special guest on the track "Change The Tide" is Leandro Cacoilo [ex. Eterna].

Each member of Vandroya is doing an impressive job and everything from song-writing to performance and production is top-notch. The tracks are all bound together with the Vandroya sound, but contains different moments like for example the powerful ballad “Why Should We Say Goodbye?”, the furious power metal track “The Last Free Land” and more progressive oriented tracks like “No Oblivion For Eternity” and “Solar Night”.

Vandroya and Daisa have set a very high standard with their debut album “One” and it will be truly exciting to follow them and see what will come next. Fans of bands like Kamelot, Symphony X, Angra and Sonata Arctica will love “One”. Vandroya is definitely a force to be reckoned with during years to come!
