British hard rock five-piece The Treatment are thrilled to announce the release of their brand new album, “Power Crazy”.

"Power Crazy” is the band’s fourth full-length album and continues their successful formula of coupling sonic power with a taste for infectious riffs. With this record, The Treatment are firing on all cylinders with their slice of no frills hard rock. A quick listen will instantly reveal the essential ingredients of a classic hard rock album: riffs, huge choruses, catchy licks, and straight to the point songs.

“Power Crazy” is also The Treatment’s first album to feature new singer Tom Rampton. With his raspy voice reminiscent of the classic Bon Scott tone, you can rest assured he knows how to ride high on the guitar attack from guitarists Tao and Tagore Grey.

“We believe this record is a strong statement from the band and we look forward to playing the new songs live. We will be touring throughout 2019 and can’t wait to see all you Treatment troops at our shows next year,” says the band.

The Treatment - "Let's Get Dirty" (Official Lyric Video)

The Treatment are back! Fresh with a brand-new singer Tom Rampton, a brand-new single ‘Let’s Get Dirty’ and a co-headline tour this September with Airrace. The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their new album which is due out early 2019 via Frontiers.
New single ‘Let’s Get Dirty’ is a groove-laden, fist-pumping, unapologetic rock n roll anthem which showcases a band hungry for more and showing no signs of slowing down.
The hard-hitting five-piece based out of Cambridge, invoke the good-time swagger of band’s like AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, The Cult, and Guns N’ Roses. Formed in 2008, the band released its debut LP, ‘This Might Hurt’ in 2011.
Since then the band have released two long players ‘Running With The Dogs’ (2014) and ‘Generation Me’ (2016) After a couple of vocalists changes, The Treatment found themselves without a singer once again in 2017.  Enter into the fray, Tom Rampton.
“Tom Rampton is the vocalist we have been waiting for. His Bon Scott esque growl is a perfect match for the bands sound. Lets Get Dirty is only the tip of the iceberg. We're back. Bigger, louder and better than before.” - The Treatment
The Treatment are currently in the studio working on the follow up to ‘Generation Me’ and are promising a bigger, louder and better sound than before. With the album scheduled for release in early 2019, and the first single being released on July 23rd, 2018, it looks like exciting times ahead for these young rockers from Cambridge.
The band are full loaded and ready to hit the road with their explosive live show this September. The band have toured with the likes of Alice Cooper, Steel Panter, Thin Lizzy, Kiss, Motley Crue and Slqsh as well as gracing the stages at Download and Hellfest festivals.
The Treatment are set to take their new material on a co-headline tour this September with Airrace. Please see dates below.

'Equal parts ballsy attitude, infectious hooks, driving rhythms, and adrenaline fueled riffage, Generation Me is an album every self-respecting hard rocker should own.' - Metaholic

'Not afraid to be rock stars, The Treatment sing about the unstoppable power of rock and threaten to overdose the listener with their rampaging hormones' lock up your daughters: rock just got dangerous again.' - SonicAbuse

''Generation Me', is just great hard rock that's tailor made for disenfranchised youths spitting fire and snot-nosed declarations of war.' ' Stereoboard

'The Treatment play basic classic hard rock, infused with boogie and groove, melody and harmony. It's what we all know and love. Quite recommended.' ' Dangerdog Music Reviews

'This album should help project The Treatment even further, there is a maturity to the collection of songs but still balanced with their original youthful enthusiasm.' - Moshville Times

With so many albums to choose from these days, it’s pretty easy to skip a release or even an entire band on occasion.
I haven’t given UK rockers The Treatment any time until now, given the bigger push by Frontiers Records.
And while I haven’t had time to go back and take in the band’s first two albums, I am a new fan on the basis of this third full length album.
Generation Me is The Treatment’s first album featuring Mitchel Emms on vocals and Tao Grey on guitar, and launches the band’s partnership with their new label Frontiers Music Srl.

Being that my appreciation of these guys comes directly from the hard crunch of the AC/DC styled riffs and the stand out vocals, perhaps this is a great place for anyone to start without the need for prior familiarity.

What we have here is a very enjoyable, high energy classic hard rock album that features a raw, but impressive production and music that’s best described as Tesla meets AC/DC.
The raspy, sometimes higher tone of Emms is really pleasing to these ears and the riffing is a great variety of punchy hard rock and faster paced dirty rock n roll.

Best of all are the songs. You can have the best sound and the best talent, but without the songs, you’re going nowhere.
The title track is fast and furious; the hard rocking opening track (and single) Let It Begin is a perfect opener; The Devil gets tuck in your head pretty easily; the softer going Backseat Heartbeat is pure melodic Tesla, mirroring that band’s excellent use of acoustic guitars; We Are Beautiful flows beautifully and Light The Sun is a cool anthemic Tesla styled rocker to close the album.

The only places I struggle is with the go-nowhere Better Think Again and I Know She Knows, which to me just has a really annoying chorus. That takes away from the second half of the album, but elsewhere it’s very consistent and thoroughly enjoyable.
