Guardian to release "Almost Home"  album via iTunes Special Release on July 15.
(Special $4.99 price for 10-day pre-release period)

Veteran Christian Rock band Guardian will release their long-awaited album, "Almost Home" via iTunes and other digital outlets on July 15th.

The band was chosen to be a part of new special pre-release program on iTunes where fans can pre-purchase the album 10 days prior to release at a discounted price. The album was available for pre-purchase on July 5th at a specially discounted price of $4.99, leading up to the albums official street date of July 15, where it then be available for $9.99.

Two years in the making, "Almost Home" is Guardian's first full-length release in over 10 years. Funded by Kickstarter crowd-sourcing, the band completed the album in Jan. 2014 and are finally releasing it to the public.

"We are grateful to our Kickstarter backers", says bassist and founding member, David Bach. "We wanted to wait a few months to be sure we got all of our backers their copy of the album, and we're now thrilled to finally be able to release the album to the rest of the world." Vocalist Jamie Rowe says: "We were excited to see the album hit the iTunes rock charts on the day the pre-release began. To crack the top 100 at #98 with no label support or marketing push was humbling and exciting! The fans made it happen!"

A limited quantity of physical CD's will also be available on July 15th through the bands website: Houseofguardian.com
