Powerhouse rock 'n' roll band FOZZY have released their new single and video "Nowhere To Run". Listen to the anthemic track, which premiered on Chris Jericho's SiriusXM radio show "The Rock Of Jericho" recently, HERE. This is the first song off the new record called 2020, coming in Spring 2020.
I'm excited to say, the upcoming H.E.A.T single "One By One" is 3 minutes and 47 seconds of unadulterated, pure melodic hard rock bliss, very reminiscent of the debut, but updated.
Here's the official press release:
"H.E.A.T announces release of a brand new album, titled “H.E.A.T II”, early next year.
“H.E.A.T II” is the first album ever to be produced entirely by the band with Jona Tee and Dave Dalone as producers. ”This is how we would sound if we made a debut album 2019, hence the title.
First out is the brand new single ”One by One” with an animated video to go with it, release September 27th, followed by the anthem ”Rise” (release later this fall).
”One by One is about enlightening people and showing an alternative path to life. A road less travelled, if you will.” ~ H.E.A.T
DEGREED will release new single "Sex" on the 11th October trough Gain/Fifth Avenue. The song is taken from new album "Lost Generation" set to be released 15 November, 2019.
“Exhibits” has been in the works for more than a year and a half, but will finally get unleashed to the legions of hungry melodic rock fans that this band has enraptured with their first three albums. "It’s been a long time indeed, five years!” says guitarist and producer Robert Sall. "Funny enough, it didn’t seem that way. Everyone in the band was busy doing their own thing and it wasn’t until mid-2017 when Serafino [Perugino, President Frontiers Records] asked us about our plans for a new album and it hit us that, it REALLY was about time. So we spent the better part of 2018 writing and recording it and here we are!"
Work Of Art debuted in February 2008 with the release of their album “Artwork”. Coming out of nowhere, the album immediately struck a chord with melodic rock aficionados around the world. With a sound inspired by genre greats like Toto, Giant, and Journey, Work Of Art quickly established themselves as one of the most promising newcomers in the genre. Soon after their debut, WOA guitarist and main composer Robert Sall joined W.E.T, the project featuring Jeff Scott Soto and Erik Martensson from Eclipse, thus immediately cementing his status as a star in the genre!
Expectations for the follow-up album, “In Progress” were sky high. Work of Art lived up to the hype, entering the Swedish album charts at number 30 upon release of the album. The next step for the band was to start performing live, which they did for the first time in Madrid, Spain in January 2012 and followed that performance with several other shows in various European countries. Third album “Framework” followed in 2014 and kept the momentum going for the band which, simply put, became the top new AOR band from Europe.
“Exhibits” is therefore the logical next step for WOA, an album which encompasses all that they have managed to create until now. Offering another bunch of unforgettable songs with soaring melodies (courtesy of singer Lars Säfsund) and amazing instrumental prowess (offered by Robert and Herman), "Exhibits" will thrill fans of the band and of the genre as a whole. "Like always, when Herman, Lars and I get together, it sounds like us, it sounds like Work of Art,” tells Sall. "However, with this record I tried to bring out more ”old school AOR” influences and get rid of some of the West Coast influences that were on our previous albums. I wanted it to be an AOR album, not a melodic rock album, not a West Coast album, just a classic AOR sounding album, start to finish!"
Overall this is certainly Work of Art’s most up-tempo and straight ahead album thus far, but – as it should be – some unbelievable softer moments are there as well. One notable highlight, legendary keyboard player Vince DiCola (author of the immortal “Training Montage” piece on the Rocky IV soundtrack) is a special guest on “This Isn’t Love.”
If you are an AOR fan this is a record you simply cannot miss!

Three of metal’s finest vocalists, known collectively as THE THREE TREMORS - Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, DIO DISCIPLES), Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin (JAG PANZER, SATAN’S HOST, TITAN FORCE), and Sean "The Hell Destroyer" Peck (CAGE, DENNER/SHERMANN, DEATH DEALER) - Steel Cartel Records have announced the Friday, November 15th, 2019 release of a 3-disc digipak, called ‘THE THREE TREMORS-THE SOLO VERSIONS.’
Each of the three singers perform the entire self-titled debut album alone, adding their own stylings and nuances to all 12 of the songs. This brings a fresh and completely new take on the ground-breaking debut release, and all three versions are incredible in their own right. Also included are 3 live bonus tracks recorded from their US tour. Each of the discs has brand new original artwork from DUSAN MARCOVIC, and reflects the monstrous nature of this endeavor.
Bonus Tracks for Solo Versions:
Invaders From The Sky Live
When the Last Scream Fades Live
The Three Tremors Live
Included in the set is all new artwork and packaging, 3 separate discs (The Ripper version, The Tyrant Version, The Hell Destroyer Version), 3 live bonus tracks, and all new photographs.
The Hell Destroyer: "We each sang and recorded the entire album and so much great material got left on the cutting room floor because of how we pieced together the original release. I felt we had a really cool product that we could put together and I started working with Dave Garcia to mix them and assemble them. We contacted the artist and had him paint some incredible cover art to match the ferocity of the recordings."
Ripper: "Everyone each had their own amazing version of the album and I was hoping we would find a way to get them released and now here they are."
The Tyrant: "This is a really cool, unique product that as a metal fan myself would want to have. The different approach we each took to the songs makes each version really fresh and interesting. Each guy really did a great job and it is definitely a trip the metal fan is going to enjoy."
Additionally, the band will be embarking on a European tour in November. The trio will be hitting several new territories as they seek to expand their reach to the European metal fans. The dates below are confirmed with more to be announced.
Ripper: "Excited to return to Europe and play to the fans now that the album has been out for a while now. We will be bringing some new surprises and changing up the set a bit from the last run out there we did. See you in the pit!"
The Tyrant: "I did a run with Jag Panzer earlier this year, and I am happy to tell all the people I met out on the road and asked about the Tremors return, that yes the Tremors are coming back to kill! See you in November!"
The Hell Destroyer: "Well we have been non-stop working on material since we did the US Tour and planning these dates and our return to Europe as one of our top priorities. We are supporting the SOLO VERSIONS release and will have the digipaks for sale out on the road along with some killer merchandise with the new cover artwork. I am stoked we are hitting a lot of places that we missed on the first run. Bring every metalhead you know because this is unlike any show you have ever seen!"

The mighty Metal goddess Tarja adorns the cover of the latest star studded issue of Fireworks Magazine. She rubs shoulders in our 148 colour pages alongside the multitalented collective that is the Michael Schenker Fest who are back with a brand new album called 'Revelation'. Beloved British rockers Thunder talk about celebrating 30 years in the business but that is eclipsed by the institution that is Status Quo, who return with their 33rd album, and their first new material since the passing of Rick Parfitt.
Elsewhere we have the likes of Black Star Riders, Hammerfall, Alter Bridge, Skillet, Eclipse, Volbeat, Steve Vai and more - 34 interviews in total! It doesn't end there either, as within our features we have a guide to the studio output of beloved Aussie rocker Jimmy Barnes and a look at some of the ladies of the genrevia Rob Evans' Sisters In Rock. This issue also sees the final part of the popular feature The Divine Decade, penned by Dave Reynolds, bringing things to a close with his report on the events of 1983.
As usual, the issue is bolstered by a massive reviews section, dwarfing that of any other music magazine on the market. If it's out there, chances are it's in here and we'll give you an honest view of what it's like, whether your tastes are Classic Rock, AOR, Metal, Blues, Southern, Progressive or Symphonic. Just no growling, we're not really into that.
Oh yes, it also comes with a free CD, which gives you 93 songs to try. All for a meagre £5.99. If there's better value to be found in another magazine, we'd like to know where!
"'Under the Sun' is a new/old song that was originally written and recorded for the “Who We Are” album (produced and mixed by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem), but due to the length of the album it didn’t make the final track listing.
We had completely forgotten about this song and then it came up in conversation. So, to tide things over while we finish recording the new Vega album, we thought we would take it off that dusty shelf and release it. Enjoy this new/old song and get ready for an all new Vega album and tour in 2020!!!" - VEGA
