DENNIS WARD Joins MAGNUM as AL BARROW Says Goodbye

Artist:

Hello everyone

We want to share with all you guys the news that Al has decided to leave the band. He has been finding it increasingly difficult to spend so much time away from home now that he lives in America.

We’re all going to miss him very much, not just what he brought musically but his company and character. His tireless efforts in helping with putting our albums together, social media, website, and promotional literature have always been massively appreciated, especially when we didn’t pay him for them (JK)!!

We wholeheartedly wish him the best in all his future projects both musical and personal. We’ll be keeping in touch, and for the time being he will still be helping out on Facebook.

Stepping in to his shoes we are pleased to announce that Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Unisonic) will be joining us effective immediately. We’ve already been working hard with him on the new album - due for release early 2020, with artwork by Rodney Matthews. We’re all very excited by this next chapter in the Great Adventure that is Magnum.

MATTHEW SHAD Teams Up With BOB ST. JOHN

Artist:
Following the success of his last single, “Keep Holding On”, Matthew Shad is proud to announce his new collaboration with Grammy Award winning Producer/Engineer Bob St. John.
Best known for his work with Extreme, Collective Soul & Duran Duran, St. John has also been behind the mixing console for Sir Elton John, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler & Journey's Steve Perry.

Shad & St. John will be hitting the studio this summer to record songs for a new SHAD album featuring Extreme’s Kevin Figueiredo on drums.  Completing the quartet is bassist Ryan Bruder & guitarist Saxon Kennedy.

“Matthew is a brilliant artist and I am SO looking forward to working on this project with him and being a part of his lifelong dream.  These are amazing melodic rock songs… timeless and unforgettable.  Great things will be coming from us soon!” ~ Bob St John

Zinatra - "This Song Is For You" (New Audio)

Zinatra was originally formed back in 1986. They released their debut album in 1988. After two albums, ‘Zinatra’ and ‘The Great Escape’, the band stopped in 1992 and each member went their own way. Fans always asked for a new recording ever since and now it just happened that Joss Mennen and Ron Lieberton met and decided to release a reunion single.
So especially for this reunion event we hope that you will like the single! It will be released on June 21th on all major streaming and download sites. ‘This song is for you’ is a recording of a song which only existed as a demo. It originates from the time when Ron and Kelly wrote new songs for the band. Joss, Gino and Ron are, for this special occasion, accompanied by Henk Lieberton and Ronald Jeurissen.

Credits:
This song is for you written by Ronald J. Lieberton / Kelly
vocals: Joss Mennen
guitars: Gino Rerimassie
keyboards: Ron Lieberton bass,
additional keyboards: Henk Lieberton
drums: Ronald Jeurissen

This episode is not a 'classic-styled' interview per se, but rather NIGHT RANGER's Brad Gillis and I give you a glimpse into the making of his upcoming solo album set for release in the fall. We discuss the tracks I've had a chance to hear (12 in all so far), the band playing with him, using singer GARY MOON (who sang on his Alligator solo album released in 2000 and Night Ranger's Feeding Off The Mojo from 1995), song titles, why he's making a solo album, solo tour, the future of Night Ranger and a lot more.

Recorded: June 20th 2019
