I’ve been a registered Crazy Lixx fan from day 1. I think the band shot themselves in the foot with their musical left turn on the third album Riot Avenue and have spent the last two albums re-establishing the sound their first two set up.

Now we have album number six already! Forever Wild is the new definitive Crazy Lixx album. The new lineup established with Ruff Justice has gelled and whatever the guys had in mind for this album, as far as delivering something great for fans, they’ve nailed it.

If there’s a better album in this space this year, I’ll be surprised. This is an album that has one glorious hook filled anthem after another. There’s some variety in amongst the songs and some longer than others which are cool to explore.

The band in my mind is getting close to their Swedish friends H.E.A.T for sheer enjoyment and bringing the old school ‘fun factor’ to melodic hard rock.

Fantastic album from start to finish without a filler in sight. Anthems, choruses and hooks from the opening riff to the closing beat. Brilliant!

Swedish hard rockers Crazy Lixx are back with another sleaze metal gem that harkens back to the best of 80s rock, while also keeping a foot planted in the 21st century. Forever Wild further cements Crazy Lixx as one of the leaders of the Scandinavian led 80s hard rock revival.

With huge choruses, memorable hooks and riffs, wailing, emotive guitar solos, and massive production by Danny Rexon and Chris Laney, this album is sure to resonate with old fans and new listeners alike.

The band explores a wider range of styles than ever before on Forever Wild. From the hard rocking and anthemic opening track “Wicked” to the AOR inspired upcoming single “Silent Thunder” to songs like "Eagle" that sound like they came off a Bon Jovi album circa 1986, Crazy Lixx manage to blend a love and reverence for 80s rock with their own stamp on each track.

With Forever Wild", Crazy Lixx have set the bar very high against their own revered and celebrated catalog. Their best album yet? Wed say so!

Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Crazy Lixx's new studio album, “Ruff Justice” on April 21, 2017.

The new record celebrates Crazy Lixx’s fifteenth anniversary as a band and offers ten hair / sleaze / 80's metal gems that harken back to the height of the hard rock era. The new songs draw inspiration from not only music, but also from 1980’s horror and action flicks and stand as a glowing reminder that pretty much everything was better in the 80’s. With its big choruses, memorable hooks and riffs, impressive guitar solos, and a massive production by Danny Rexon and Chris Laney, this album is sure to resonate with old fans and new listeners alike.

“We’ve tried the same ‘all killers-no fillers’ approach that we’ve gone for on our previous albums, but this time, more than ever, I think we’ve come close to that vision,“ says lead singer and producer Danny Rexon.

“Ruff Justice” will be the first Crazy Lixx album to feature the new lineup with Chrisse Olsson and Jens Lundgren handling axe duties.

“It does bring a certain feel to the album that I think we’ve been missing since the days of ‘New Religion’ (2010). Once again the whole band pulls in the same direction and the end result, I believe, will be very well received among those who hold ‘New Religion’ in high regards. If I would compare Ruff Justice to any of our previous albums, that would have to be the one,” Danny Rexon concludes.

The album also includes three songs which appear on the “Friday The 13th” videogame soundtrack: “XIII”, “Killer“ and “Live Before I Die”. Friday the 13th: The Game is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by Gun Media and IllFonic, and published by Gun Media. It is scheduled for release in early 2017 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox, and Playstation 4.

With "Ruff Justice", Crazy Lixx have raised their game tremendously! As always, their live shows in support of this album are going to take no prisoners! Don’t miss them while they’re on the road!

“Ruff Justice” tracklisting includes:
1. Wild Child

4. Shot With A Needle Of Love
5. Killer
6. Hunter Of The Heart

All any Crazy Lixx fan needs to know about this album is – does it sound any good?
Yes it does. Of course it does! Crazy Lixx kick ass!

And here on this career covering live album are 13 hard hitting tracks of glorious Scandi-melodic hard rock.
Does the live set cover everything? No, probably not. There’s always a song here or there some fan wished included, but for the most part the guys cover their bases.

The anthems Rock In A Hard Place, Lock Up Your Daughter, Sound Of The Loud Minority, Riot Avenue, Girls Of The 80s and the closing 21 Til I Die are all there and performed with great energy and enthusiasm.

It’s good stuff! Nuff said. If you’re a Crazy Lixx fan, you need this. Simple. A nice, raw, energetic live recording of a band that knows what they are doing!
Short review, but a simple one.

Crazy Lixx's First Live Album 'Sound Of The Live Minority' July 8

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of Crazy Lixx's first live album, 'Sound Of The LIVE Minority' on July 8th!

It is possible pre-order the album from Amazon.com here: http://radi.al/CrazyLixxAmazon

Coming out of the Swedish Hard Rock Scene - with influences from bands like Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, KISS, Whitesnake/David Coverdale, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard and Motley Crue - Crazy Lixx newest offering 'Sound Of The LIVE Minority' is the band's first live album, coming after four increasingly successful studio albums.

'It's a milestone for every rock band,' that's what lead singer Danny Rexon says. And a milestone it is, in more than one way. On the one hand, it is the perfect record to sum up four studio albums and more than a decade as a touring band in an hour plus documentation of energetic, live rock n' roll with the very best songs from their catalogue and most requested fan favorites. On the other hand, it also marks the end of the band's most successful line-up, with guitarist Andreas Z Eriksson (now with british Hard Rockers Inglorious) as the lead guitar slinger. This live performance was his last show with the band.

'We wanted to release this live album both to mark an end to the old Crazy Lixx, as well as a statement of a new beginning for the current line-up. On this show, Jens Lundgren had already taken over the guitar duties from our former guitarist Edd Liam so in a sense this gig represents both the old and the new,' says Danny.

The album was recorded at Bang Your Head Festival in Balingen, Germany in July 2015 and has been mixed by Chris Laney who has previously been entrusted to mix live albums for Europe, Talisman and CRASHDIET, among others.

Tracklisting:
1. Intro
2. Rock and a Hard Place
