JIMI HENDRIX SPECIAL WITH KATHY ETCHINGHAM, PLUS GEORGE LYNCH (LYNCH MOB/SWEET LYNCH) INTERVIEW ON RICH DAVENPORT'S ROCK SHOW
Kathy Etchingham, long-term girlfriend of Jimi Hendrix during the '60s, sets the record straight to defend both Jimi's memory and herself against the many negative allegations made in the recent movie 'Jimi: All Is By My Side', which features scenes in which Kathy is violently assaulted by Hendrix, among other events, about which Kathy states, 'None of these things ever happened', and offers to produce her medical records to prove that no assaults took place. Kathy gives an eye witness account of life with Jimi from the first day he arrived in London, and offers fascinating insights into the formation of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jimi's songwriting process, the recording of 'All Along The Watchtower', and life in swinging London with a rock legend at the point at which his career began, and later took off.
The show also features guitar hero George Lynch, who discusses the writing and recording of the new albums by Lynch Mob ('Sun Red Sun') and Sweet / Lynch ('Only To Rise'). George chooses two songs from each release, and talks about possible touring plans for both bands.
