This is Brian’s personal tribute to the on-going NASA New Horizons mission, which on New Years Day 2019 will achieve the most distant spacecraft flyby in history.

Nasa's New Horizons: Excitement ahead of Ultima Thule flyby Occurring some 6.5 billion km (4 billion miles) from Earth, the flyby will set a new record for the most distant ever exploration of a Solar System object by a spacecraft. New Horizons will gather a swathe of images and other data over the course of just a few hours leading up to and beyond the closest approach. This is timed for 05:33 GMT. At that moment, the probe will be about 3,500km from Ultima's surface and moving at 14km/s.

N´Tribe (yes, short for the Nordic Tribe) is a living & kicking example of that: this new band´s been founded in 2018 by three highly esteemed professionals - André Andersen, Jonas Larsen, Henrik Brockmann - initially bonded through their original band RRoyal Hunt; all participated in numerous bands/projects, all received various accolades from the industry, sold tons of albums and toured the world countless times.

Rock Producer HOWARD BENSON Produces New Album By DIAMANTE

Los Angeles, CA: Grammy Nominated Producer Howard Benson was recently in the studio producing the album for Eleven Seven artist Diamante.  Her current single “Haunted” (produced by Benson) has garnered over 2.5 million views on YouTube as the song climbs up the Rock Radio charts. In addition, Diamante’s duet “Hear Me Now” (with chart toppers Bad Wolves) is currently #2 on the rock radio chart… and the story continues to develop.
 
Benson has had a banner year producing two #1 songs with Three Days Grace, his 8th #1 with the band, who have had the most #1 singles of all time on the Mainstream Rock charts (surpassing Van Halen with their 14th #1 hit “Infra-Red”).
 
In addition, Benson has produced the new debut single and smash version of “Mississippi Queen” from the Southern California band Joyous Wolf as well as a new album from Palisades. His work with Of Mice & Men produced the hit single “Defy” that charted #3 on the U.S. Top Hard Rock Charts, #1 on iTunes Rock and Metal Charts, top 50 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums Chart and top 50 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Benson has also worked on the upcoming Netflix Mötley Crüe biopic “The Dirt” which will be released in 2019.
 
And rounding out 2018, Benson has liaised with STL Tones to create the STL Howard Benson Bundle: Kemper Edition which is comprised of Benson’s custom collection of vintage gear that gives users an all-access pass to Benson’s mix ready guitar tones from his biggest records.
