THUNDER's new album is called 'Please Remain Seated' and will be released via BMG (their new label) on January 18th 2019. It’s an exploration into our own music.
Q. What’s that?
A: After we reimagined and re-recorded Love Walked In in 2017 we decided to have a fresh look at the rest of our songs.
We agreed on just three rules only:
1. Work fast.
2. Don’t focus on making it perfect.
3. Make it different from the original.
The session was very challenging, frustrating, and all round weird, but it was also a lot of fun.
We love it, and hope you will too.
Tracklist
1. Bigger Than Both Of Us
2. Future Train
3. Girl’s Going Out Of Her Head
4. I’m Dreaming Again
5. Fly On The Wall

8. Miracle Man
9. Blown Away
10. Loser
11. She’s So Fine

As you can see this is not a Greatest Hits album, and it’s not a change of direction either.
It’s just another stop on our musical journey.
You can pre-order it now from our Townsend Music online store, in a few formats, and a load of exclusive bundles (hopefully there’s one for everybody).

Tony Harnell, the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and former vocalist of multi-platinum hard rock band TNT, and Magnus Karlsson, current Primal Fear, The Ferrymen, Magnus Karlsson's Free Fall guitarist extraordinaire, have rejoined forces for the release of the third STARBREAKER album, "Dysphoria". The album will be released on January 25, 2019.
Listen to the first single, "Pure Evil" here:
This new album showcases everything the Starbreaker project has become known for: metal sensibilities, melodic songs with killer hooks, thought provoking lyrics, inventive, intricate guitar playing, occasional prog twists, and a crisp production. Along with explosive performances from Harnell and Karlsson, these are the trademarks which the listener will find in “Dysphoria” and that make this album so very unique and special.
Of calling the album “Dysphoria”, Tony states that the “title is simply a reflection of a state of mind and I thought it fit the lyrical theme of the songs. If I tried to summarize the lyrical theme of the album I would say it’s beautifully sad, but infinitely hopeful. Life is always my biggest inspiration. It was an easy album to write lyrically for that reason. There was no writer’s block and the themes are probably pretty obvious. I don’t like to paint too clear a picture for the listener, it’s best to let the words speak to them without guidance”. On the first song released from the album, he says, “’Pure Evil’ is the heaviest the album gets and not indicative of the album as a whole, although there are some metal overtones throughout.”
Of the music direction on the album, Magnus states “Tony’s voice gives me inspiration to write my riffs and melodies. I imagine his voice, so in my head, I visualize the finished songs with great production. The two first albums didn’t take much more than a year from finish to start. This release was made over a much longer period because of our other bands and productions. It's the first time I worked on an album with breaks in the production. In the end, it came out much better. I’m really happy with the sound on a Starbreaker album. Thanks to Simone Mularoni (DGM) who did a great job with the mix. And Jonni Lightfoot and Anders Köllerfors who really made the songs shine! Tony’s voice sounds better than ever, just amazing! You can have the best songs, best production or fastest guitar solos, but if the vocals aren’t top notch, you have nothing!”
STARBREAKER started as Harnell's side project while he was still fronting TNT. He was initially working on a solo record, with Karlsson, former TNT drummer John Macaluso, and bassist Fabrizio Grossi, but they morphed into STARBREAKER, releasing their first self-titled studio album in 2005. In late 2007, Harnell flew to Sweden to write the bulk of the songs for the new album with Karlsson, and started recording the new songs at the end of that year. The group's second album, "Love's Dying Wish" was released in August 2008. It featured new bassist Jonni Lightfoot, who replaced Grossi, and was produced by Harnell and Karlsson, with Tommy Hansen (TNT, PRETTY MAIDS, HELLOWEEN) serving as the mixer.
The songwriting for the new STARBREAKER album started back before Harnell rejoined TNT in 2016, but it was after his ultimate split from that band, in October 2017, that he and Karlsson put the pedal to the metal and quickly completed the new record, “Dysphoria"

Frontiers Music Srl are delighted to announce the release of “Ride To Nowhere”, the third studio album by Inglorious on January 25, 2019. The debut single from the album, “Where Are You Now?” is released out now.
In amongst their touring commitments, Inglorious spent 2018 writing and recording their third studio album, “Ride To Nowhere”. A much darker, more reflective album than their previous releases, the new songs further hone the Inglorious sound - the pulsating rhythms, driving guitars and infectious vocal melodies.
“This album is different in many ways. The songs came about very quickly. As with all our songs we start with a riff, and this time having new guitarist Drew added a new and heavier feel to a couple of songs. We wrote the basics mostly together all in one room on acoustic guitars and then I went away and crafted the stories I wanted to tell. For me this album is very personal. I am for the first time writing about a lot of my feelings, relationships and losses...” -- Nathan James
“On this album I feel that the songs are a true reflection of what we’ve been through over the past few years - both as a band and as individuals. You’ve got the highs, the lows and lessons learned along the way. The making of this album was at a time when we all had our own personal situations and changes to deal with. I feel that this definitely comes through on the recordings and particularly songs like ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Where Are You Now?’ and ‘Glory Days”. - Colin Parkinson
The recording of “Ride to Nowhere” involves for the first time new guitarist Drew Lowe, who says “The album is the next step for the band in maturity. Being that it's my first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but as soon as we started we knew what type of record was coming. Hopefully the fans will love it as they follow us on the musical journey.”
From the body blow riffs of the first single “Where Are You Now?”, to the beautiful melodies and bluesy overtones of “I Don’t Know You,” from the assault of “Freak Show” to the acoustic ballad “Glory Days”, “Ride to Nowhere” is an absolute gem of an album, showing not only all the influences from iconic rock albums of the 70’s, but also offering the band’s own sound and interpretation. As with Inglorious “II”, the album was mixed by the legendary Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith).
“There’s a lot of variety on this album, more so than the previous ones and that I really like. Sonically I think it sounds more fresh, contemporary in a sense and that goes for a bunch of songs on the album as well. Just the singles alone are different than how we’ve sounded in the past, but still have the Inglorious feel and vibe! Lastly I also think that musically it’s better than the previous albums, everyone plays very tasteful, soulful and collectively I feel that it’s perfect!” - Andreas Eriksson
“We’re all really happy with the way the new record sounds and look forward to seeing how the fans receive it. I personally can’t wait to play the new material live on the road!”- Phil Beaver

The musical pedigree and backstory of the members of Dept. Of Gloom would take hours to dissect. The sum of their collective parts reads like a short history of Australian rock!
Created in 2016 from some pretty cool lineage, their members coming from bands such as The Candy Harlots, Genitorturers, JERK & Dead Inside The Chrysalis, Dept. Of Gloom is an unholy alliance between Australia and the USA.
Brought up on an a diet of a lotta KISS, Alice Cooper, 70's British glam rock, Sex Pistols, NIN and the like, Dept. Of Gloom are the sum of their parts and their influences. They don't sound like any of those...but there’s a little bit of all of them in there, if you listen carefully...
They bring the old and forge it with the new. Modern/Vintage. A poison pill coated in candy, where analogue meets digital. The sounds, riffs and attitudes of the 70ʼs and 80ʼs rock n roll heyday collide in a wonderful, head-on smash with the 21st Century.
A firey twin guitar assault, driven supercharged bass and big drums against a shimmering backdrop of electro synths. Topped off with three distinctive lead vocalists, Dept. Of Gloom harken back to a time when bands were rockstars and rockstars were heroes!
Music. Show. Passion. Rare commodities in todayʼs safe music scene and that has nothing to do with ‘originalityʼ but more to do with your own take on the speed wagon you choose to drive. So come aboard and have some guilty fun. You can always... repent later. If you must.
I Dare You was recorded earlier 2018 and mastered at New Yorksʼ Sterling Sound is a passion filled slam bang affair with melody, groove and emotion.
The video is itʼs perfect companion. Sound and vision for your ears, eyes and heart.
The brand new Christian Tolle Project album “Point Blank” will be released October 26 through Fastball Music. Again, Christian Tolle hits the 100% mark with his melodic rock songs and cooperates with well established musicians, e.g. Doug Aldrich, David Reece, John Cuijpers, Mathias Dieth and Morris Adriaens.
The album will be released as digipak CD and Vinyl.
From the uplifting opener and title track "Point Blank" to the driving grooves on "Too Late" or the hookladden bangers like "Black Friday" or "Borderland" the production pounds with punch and transparency. David Reece (ex-Accept, ex-Bonfire, Sainted Sinners) and John Cuijpers (Cooper Inc., Ayreon, Praying Mantis) take the lead vocals with Christian Tolle handling guitars, bass, drums and production.
Add Morris Adriaens on keys and backing vocals as well as Mathias Dieth (ex- U.D.O, ex-Sinner) and L.A. based guitar hero Doug Aldrich (Dio, ex-Whitesnake,The Dead Daisies) to guest for some stunning lead guitars, you can expect nothing less than a straight and excellent rock record, touching musical roots of the late 70s and 80s with lots of hooks and energy.
As a result "Point Blank" has turned into a real listening pleasure for all fans of guitar driven hard rock.
