When asked about his new Album 2.0 a re-recording of his classic songs
"It happened casually it wasn't planned, on April 1 2017 was the 35 anniversary of my debut album and usually when there are landmark albums like that record companies and bands what they do is remaster, repackage those albums. So I knew that Sony would want to remaster. So I thought to myself what can I do that would be really special for the anniversary, something special for me, my fans and something that would get new fans. Then I got the idea why don't I redo everything from scratch and turbo charge the songs while keeping the innocence of the songs that I had when I was 22 years old  and add  the 35-36 years of  experience that I have now. If I can do Fantasy and get it to be exciting  at the point where it excites me I will keep going otherwise I will drop this whole concept. I wanted 2.0 to sound like you were coming to see me at a live concert, that's why there are extended solos, there is breaks, time changes and key changes. It's a guitar oriented album. I also wanted 2.0 to have a  more timeless sound to the album and today a mix of both worlds. I really worked hard on the arrangements to be exciting to me. Plus I added a  new song called  'I am a survivor' and people have been telling me it's a standout track. "

When asked about how his debut album was the template and blueprint of the 80's sound
"Many bands copied that formula. I think I was the template for a lot of bands that followed"

When asked about the ups and downs after the success of his albums in the 80's
"I got shafted financially so much back then and I am feeling it  today more than ever, when I go back and look at all these old contracts. The first album, I had my dreams come true to be a successful musician. I got to play with Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, Sammy Hagar, there really was no down side, even with my second album there was no down side. The down side really started to get bad on my third album Twitch, that is when the record company really got involved and that's when I really started to hate music and hate the whole business. The contracts were really unfair I had a manager that was extremely crooked when it came time to buy a house in New York after my first album  sold a couple of millions of albums I  couldn't. Nothing really expensive ($200,000) and I went to the accountant and they told me I don't have enough money and I said what do you mean I sold a couple of million albums, I toured the world. he said your manager put all your money into your tour. :

When asked about his contribution to Bon Jovi's debut album
"Jon Bon Jovi's  cousin Tony Bongiovi mixed my first album at the Power Station in New York and I got to know Jon at the coffee machine andi invited him to hear my songs. So when it came time for Jon to do the demo of the song Runaway and others his cousin called me up and I was more than glad to come and do it, Jon and Tony were my friends. I went into the studio and it was me on guitar, I did all the background vocals with others and I played keyboards on a lot of tracks on that album too. I was pretty involved with the debut album especially from the initial track Runaway. That track basically got them the record deal they got so much airplay from it , it did really well."

When asked about him losing confidence in his voice in the late 80's
"I lost confidence in my voice many times because I was in such a bad marriage, I stayed in it too long. It's kind of hard being told you have a bad voice and after a while you start believing it. Also there was a physical side why I could not sing. Your mind is a powerful thing. I think at that point of time I convinced myself I could not sing but it came back naturally. "

When asked if he will be releasing  a new album with new material
"From February 2008 to 2016 I have been working on a Rock Opera called Space and I have been working on it non stop  night and day for 8 years. I kept writing song after song. Now I have a 32 song rock opera ready to go. It's mixed it's mastered and it's played on by the best players. It's style classical, heavy rock , my voice changes in almost every song to suit the characters."

When asked if he will be touring
"I will be touring the most extensively as possible, the band is set and I am in shape."

Nova initially gained fame with his self-titled debut album Aldo Nova in 1982 which climbed to Billboard's number 8 position, and its accompanying single, "Fantasy", which climbed to number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The debut album reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA on May 14, 1982, Platinum on February 14, 1989, and Double Platinum on December 5, 1994

Nova provided guitar, keys and background vocals for the demo of BON JOVI's first hit, "Runaway", and ended up playing with an assemblage of session musicians throughout BON JOVI's 1984 self-titled debut.

In 1996, he received a Grammy Award as producer for Celine Dion's "Falling into You" for Album of the Year.

Jerome Mazza is a singer / songwriter born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania.
At the age of 8 he taught himself how to play the guitar and sing after being influenced by guitarist and singer Mark Farner (Grand Funk).

Playing guitar and singing through his teenage years Jerome joined his first band at age 19 and toured the east coast in various rock and pop bands. He started writing songs at age 25 and was very influenced by progressive rock band Kansas.

In 1990 Jerome became the vocalist for Christian metal band Angelica. To this day the album “Walking in Faith” by Angelica remains their most respected release.

Moving on to 2015 Jerome recorded a solo album and then joined forces with Torben Enevoldsen for the band “Pinnacle Point”. It was at this point that Khalil from Escape music approached Jerome when he discovered Jerome on YouTube singing for the band “Pinnacle Point”. Khalil invited Jerome to sing with Steve Walsh on the song “Born In Fire” on the new Steve Walsh CD “Black Butterfly” (Nov 2017 ESM311). Jerome’s performance was so outstanding that Khalil asked him to be a guest to sing additional songs on the Steve Walsh “Black Butterfly” album. It was an easy decision for Jerome to make and the result was explosive!

It became obvious that Jerome should record a new solo album and here it is in all its glory! This is a masterpiece of melodic rock featuring Jerome’s incredible vocal range. With backing from musicians that were also featured on the Steve Walsh “Black Butterfly” album, this will be one of the most talked about releases of the year!

Rock Legends Join Golden Robot Records
Set to Release First New Album in Over a Decade in 2019

Australia’s leading international independent record label, Golden Robot Records continues to grow at an unprecedented pace. The label is absolutely thrilled to announce that globally revered, Billboard-charting rock icons KING’S X are now part of their ever-growing international roster.

KING’S X recently signed a global deal with Golden Robot Records which will see their long-awaited forthcoming new album released worldwide in 2019 via Golden Robot Records’ partners in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

"I’m really excited to release the next KING’S X album with Mark, Derek and the crew at Golden Robot! May the groove be with us all,” says vocalist/bassist dUg Pinnick. Guitarist Ty Tabor adds, "I'm looking forward to working with Golden Robot Records!"

Drummer Jerry Gaskill adds, "It's been a while since we've made a record. During that time, I've been thinking, when and if we make a new record, I want it to be the best we can do. I want to believe in it. I want to make it great, whatever it takes. I don't want to just make another KING'S X record. I think and hope that we are in that place. I think and hope its time and I feel good about the team we'll be working with at Golden Robot Records. I'm going do my best. Let's do this thing.”

"When we started to talk to KING’S X about signing with Golden Robot in the U.S. and we met dUg in LA a few times, I knew 100% that we would end up working with them. I’m loving the fact they are still the original members and I really believe this new album will be there best yet! It's incredible how many people inside the industry – and I'm talking about very well-known musicians – love these guys and can’t wait for a new album. We are all very excited indeed,” says Mark Alexander-Erber, Group Founder and President.

“I am delighted to finally be able to work with one the most respected, creative rock bands of the past 30+ years. KING’S X is not only a superb rock band with an ardent fan base, but are also a ‘musician musicians’ band. Golden Robot Records is determined to finally help KING'S X receive the worldwide recognition it fully deserves,” says Derek Shulman, Executive Chairman of Worldwide Expansion.

Since the release of their debut record, Out Of The Silent Planet, in 1988, KING’S X released a dozen albums that have seen them rightfully earn their place on the rock royalty family tree. Fusing progressive metal, funk and soul grooves with vocal arrangements rooted in blues, gospel and even the British Invasion era influences, KING’S X created a style all their own which continues to be an inspiration for bands to this day.

Featuring vocalist and bassist Doug Pinnick, guitarist Ty Tabor and drummer Jerry Gaskill, KING’S X have never changed their line-up, a rarity in the music world and a testament to the band and musicians and friends.

Critically acclaimed from the start, KING’S X are musician’s musicians, name-dropped by everyone from Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies to Iron Maiden and Blue Murder for their instrumental prowess. Pearl Jam's bassist Jeff Ament even declared that "KING'S X invented grunge”. They also enjoyed a long life via the David Letterman Show with their track, “We Were Born To Be Loved” (from 1990’s Faith Hope Love), also a favorite of the Paul Shaffer’s CBS Orchestra to play during commercial breaks.

In 1992, KING’S X signed to Atlantic Records/Megaforce Records, released three albums and toured with bands as diverse as Scorpions, Type O Negative and Pearl Jam. In the early 2000’s, KING’S X released three studio albums and their first official live album via Metal Blade Records. In 2005, the band signed to German-based progressive music specialty label, InsideOut Music, and released Ogre Tones, an album described as a return to the bands classic sound. KING’S X forged ahead with new albums, DVD’s and tours up until 2012, when drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a major heart attack. The band then quickly compiled an exclusive live release from their archives entitled, Burning Down Boston. The proceeds of which went directly to assisting Gaskill with his medical expenses. They rolled on for two more years until Jerry suffered another heart attack, which resulted in him having a double bypass operation and ultimately led to the band taking an indefinite hiatus.

This break didn’t last long, as they were back on the road in mid-2015, shortly afterward announcing they would begin work on a new studio album. This would be the band’s first since 2008’s XV. KING’S X began meetings with Golden Robot Records management in Los Angeles in early 2017, eventually signing a global deal in October 2018.

While it’s been a decade since KING’S X have released a new record, the wait has definitely been worth it! Watch this space for news on the forthcoming album in the very near future.

Debut album Mama Said Rock Is Dead scheduled for 8 February 2019

Lead single 'Lolita' out on 23 November 2018

What started some six years ago as an 80s rock show paying tribute to icons such as Van Halen, Motley Crue, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi has long developed into a hot, autonomous act  with fantastic songs and an impressive stage show: John Diva & The Rockets Of Love, a flamboyant rock band in true 80s style, graced with a talent for breathing fresh air into the classic rock music genre, are scheduled to release their debut album Mama Said Rock Is Dead on Steamhammer/SPV on 8 February 2019. 23 November 2018 will see the arrival of their lead single 'Lolita', supported by a congenial video clip featuring scantily clad girls and sunny beach scenes. The second single 'Rock´n`Roll Heaven' will be out on 18 January 2019, masterly presented Tarantino-style in a dusty Western-type desert landscape. The twelve songs were produced by Michael Voss (Mad Max, Michael Schenker, among others), with Chris von Rohr (Krokus, Gotthard) involved as creative supervisor.

Alongside frontman/womanizer John Diva as the musical and visual focus, the band includes guitarists Snake Rocket and J.J. Love, bassist Remmie Martin and drummer Lee Stingray Jr. John Diva & The Rockets Of Love have performed their spectacular shows in recent years in front of thousands of fans, three times at the Wacken Open Air (2014, 2015 and 2018), at the 2016 Turock Festival in Essen and at the Hamburg Harley Days in summer 2018, among others.

In view of the upcoming releases, John Diva & The Rockets Of Love look forward to a fruitful collaboration with SPV: 'Our shelves are chock-a-block with countless important albums that came out on Steamhammer in recent years. So in a way we've arrived exactly where we belong!'
