REVOLUTION SAINTS
ANNOUNCE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SECOND ALBUM,
‘LIGHT IN THE DARK,’
OUT OCTOBER 13 ON FRONTIERS MUSIC SRL
AND RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK

After the 2015 release of the self-titled debut album by REVOLUTION SAINTS--Deen Castronovo (ex-Journey, Bad English), Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies, ex-Whitesnake, DIO), Jack Blades (Night Ranger, Damn Yankees)—rock fans around the world rejoiced at the inspired musical offering. Those fans will, once again, have cause for celebration as REVOLUTION SAINTS will be releasing their second album later this year. Today, the band has released a video for the title track to the new album, which can be seen here:

LIGHT IN THE DARK is due out October 13 on Frontiers Music Srl. The album will be available on CD, CD/DVD Deluxe Edition (includes live bonus tracks on the CD and on the DVD, footage from the band’s first-ever live performance captured at Frontiers Rock Festival in Milan this past April, a “Making Of” mini-documentary, and music videos for “Light In The Dark” and “I Wouldn’t Change A Thing”), Vinyl, and as a special Limited Edition Box Set (includes the Deluxe Edition CD/DVD, 180g Vinyl, T-shirt (size L), poster, lithograph and sticker).

For LIGHT IN THE DARK, REVOLUTION SAINTS once again teamed up with producer/songwriter Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, JORN), who was also behind the boards for the band’s debut album. Most of LIGHT IN THE DARK was recorded at Del Vecchio’s studios in Somma Lombardo, Italy, with additional recording taking place at Blades’ studio in Washington, Aldrich’s CasaDala studio in Los Angeles, and other countries all over the world while Aldrich was on tour with The Dead Daisies.

“This is a fun band!” exclaims bassist Jack Blades. “I think the fans are going to pick up on the excitement and the shear musical enjoyment we are having. It was great going to Italy to get the album started and film the videos, and the music speaks for itself.”

“’Light In The Dark’ is such a great song,” continues singer/drummer Deen Castronovo. “It was the first one we recorded. We ran through it a few times and nailed it in the first couple takes. We're so excited for everyone to hear this record. We're very happy with what we came up with and can't wait to bring it to everyone live.”

As guitarist Doug Aldrich proclaims, “I’m very excited about REVOLUTION SAINTS’ second record! First I want to say that it's because of huge support from the fans that RS2 happened. Thank you. If you liked #1, I think you'll love this one even more. It’s stronger, and a bit heavier in some spots. We tried a few new things and we can’t wait for our fans to hear it! There’s a very good chance we’ll finally get to play live and we’re currently exploring the possibilities of a tour. For now, get ready, because the album kicks ass and it's comin’ at you real soon!”

REVOLUTION SAINTS was born from the vision of Frontiers' President, Serafino Perugino, who for years had hoped to work on a project highlighting Deen Castronovo’s amazing vocal abilities. Having previously worked with all three artists on different projects on Frontiers, having Deen, Jack and Doug on board together was a dream come true for Perugino.

This time, with one album already under their belt, REVOLUTION SAINTS entered the studio to record the new album more familiar with one another and a clear understanding of where they wanted this to go. As with the first album, Castronovo’s superb vocal talents are in the spotlight on this release and deservedly so. Pretty impressive for a man who is most widely known for his incredible drumming talents. Jack Blades really needs no introduction at this point, but for those who have been living under a rock, his bass and vocal talents are well documented over the years through his work with Night Ranger, Damn Yankees, Shaw/Blades, and more. And, of course, a major feature is the fiery and intense playing from former Whitesnake and DIO guitarist Doug Aldrich, whose blistering guitar fretwork is on full display here.

LIGHT IN THE DARK builds off the classic melodic rock style of the debut, but fans should prepare for a somehow even more inspired set and a few (pleasant) surprises. Inspiring, uplifting, emotionally powerful, and thoughtful, this album WILL be the soundtrack to many a moment in your life.

The music media had a lot of praise for the band’s self-titled debut album:

“The 2015 eponymous debut album from rock supergroup Revolution Saints showcases the outfit's swaggering, guitar-based sound..Together, these titans of rock have crafted a soaring, lick-ripping album of classic '70s- and '80s-influenced hard rock.” -- AllMusic

“REVOLUTION SAINTS is what you should expect: sharply played, always harmonious retro hard rock...a classy, melodious and sentimental walk back to when commercial hard rock was king. An album like this in 1986 would've been an automatic chart burner and cheers to Blades, Castronovo and Aldrich for treating this moment like an automatic chart burner is imperative to their inner fabrics.” – Blabbermouth

“...a remarkable album full of winners.” – Rockrevoltmagazine

“The bottom line here is that Revolution Saints are a damn good band...This is just good music, well written, well sung and well played. Nice job guys!” – Classicrockrevisited

“These are uplifting, joyful songs and there is no brooding melancholy here. They are inspiring, positive and full of sunshine. Everyone involved is musically perfect and flawless...A fine addition to any music collection, Revolution Saints is well worth the investment.” – CrypticRock

“Revolution Saints are being dubbed ‘the musicianship to die for’ and one of the most interesting collaborations in the recent history of rock. Guessing by their first effort, there’s neither a pomposity nor an exaggeration to such statements. Revolution Saints is, to put it simply, an instant melodic rock classic standing up to reputation of all parts involved...what is perhaps the album’s strongest point is the material itself, 12 songs distinguished not only by the extraordinary performance, but also by the high quality songwriting. Intertwining soaring power ballads with fiery guitar-laden tunes, all of them embroidered with perfectly crafted melodies, Revolution Saints is not only a must for all Night Ranger/Journey/Whitesnake fans. It actually goes far beyond the musicians’ collective resumes with its catchy-yet-tasteful melodies and classic hard rock flavors.” -- Hardrockhaven

To all of the loyal REVOLUTION SAINTS fans, prepare to have your patience rewarded beyond your wildest dreams with this album! Understand this clearly, REVOLUTION SAINTS is HERE TO STAY!

Moving to Boston, Mass in his teens, Hirsh attended the famed Berklee College of Music and studied there for 4 years. Soon afterwards Hirsh joined forces with future New England keyboardist Jimmy Waldo and along the way they also recruited future New Englanders Gary Shea and John Fannon. Initially going under the name Target the foursome felt they needed a different more dramatic moniker that reflected their many and varied influences, thus New England were born.

In the years between 1979 and 1982 Hirsh was an integral part of one of the classiest AOR/Melodic Rock bands on the planet. New England released 3 world class albums (S/T, Explorer Suite and Walking Wild), working with top class producers such as Mike Stone, Todd Rundgren and toured extensively with the likes of KISS, AC/DC and Journey, but all good things come to an end and in 1982 Hirsh found himself looking for another band .
A phone call from Kiss` Gene Simmons would take Hirsh and fellow New Englanders Shea and Waldo to LA to work with upcoming singer songwriter Vinnie Cusano. The band Warrior came to be but this was short lived as Cusano was quickly snatched up by KISS assuming the name Vinnie Vincent, so once more Hirsh found himself looking for a new direction.

Taking on board lessons learned earlier from working with the likes of Stone and Rundgren, Hirsh was soon an 'in demand' producer in and around the Boston area and worked with artists many and varied, Willie Nile, Mass, Shyboy and Vice just some of acts that benefitted from Hirsh`s talents in the producer's chair.
1997 found Hirsh being awarded  Producer of the year for the Boston Phoenix as well as being nominated 5 times in the Boston Music awards and winning it once in 1998.

But Hirsh never lost sight of being a musician first and foremost and continued to record in his home studio. 2002 saw the release of his first solo album `Wasteland for Broken Hearts` which was received ecstatically  not only by New England fans but also by the wider rock audience.

In the intervening years Hirsh has got back together with former New England colleagues and the band have released their first new music in decades, but not being one to rest on his laurels Hirsh began quietly working once more in his home studio. The result.... `My Brain Needs A Holiday` an album not only chock full of the classic rock music that we have all come to expect from the man, but also with some welcome surprises along the way. Complete with a stellar supporting cast which includes the likes of Jimmy Waldo (New England), Richie Ranno (Starz), Ron `Bumblefoot` Thal (Guns `N` Roses & Art of Anarchy) Jon Butcher and Joe Feloni  `My Brain…` is a true rock album for 2017 and  beyond.

'It was time for a new album' Gardner quips 'I stay so busy writing and producing other artists that I need to take a holiday (hence the title of the album) and stay in touch with myself as an artist'

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the second studio release by Phantom 5, PLAY TO WIN! The album will be out on October 13.
Checkout the first song and video, “The Change In You”, to be released from the album here:

After the success of their self-titled debut album, the brainchild of producer/guitarist (and for this record, bassist) Michael Voss and vocalist Claus Lessmann have returned with yet another incredible outing of impeccable German melodic hard rock! Once again joined by Robert Boebel on guitars and keyboards and Axel Kruse on drums, these fist pumping anthems will tickle the eardrums of any connoisseur of melodic hard rock.

Michael Voss says, "[t]o all the rockers out there, we are more than happy to continue this labour of love and come back with a bang! Again, guitar wizard Robby Boebel delivered powerful riffs and Claus wrote some magic melodies. The drums were delivered by heart-pounding visual timekeeper Axel Kruse and taped by the famous Rolf Munkes at Empire Studios. 11 well balanced songs, full of emotion and power, right in the vein of our first album. If you like the first one, you will love the new one! Come and get it... and play it loud...we play 2 win!!!"

Originally born as “Supremacy”, the band decided to change their name to Phantom 5 before recording their debut album for release last year. It had been a long time since the public had heard a melodic hard rock record THIS GOOD coming from Germany! Mixing influences from the cream of the crop of German melodic hard rock bands, but with Michael and Claus’ unique stamp on it, the debut was met with rave reviews across the board.

After the success of that album, Michael and Claus knew it was a no-brainer to follow it up with an even more inspired outing and that is exactly what they’ve done here. “Play To Win” does exactly what the title says!

ACE FREHLEY’S 'Anomaly' To Be Reissued As 'Anomaly Deluxe' On September 8

ALL NEW BONUS TRACK "HARD FOR ME" DEBUTED VIA ULTIMATECLASSICROCK.COM

FREHLEY WORKING ON NEW STUDIO ALBUM, INCLUDING COLLABORATIONS WITH GENE SIMMONS

INTERNATIONAL TOUR DATES HAPPENING NOW

Founding KISS guitarist, solo artist, and 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Ace Frehley has premiered an all new bonus track titled "Hard For Me" today exclusively via ULTIMATECLASSICROCK.COM. The track will appear on a reissue of his 2009 album Anomaly re-released as Anomaly Deluxe coming out on September 8, 2017 via Entertainment One Music.

“I think this new edition of the album is great - a special treat for the fans,” says Frehley.  "And, with the bonus tracks, they’ll get a little more insight into how the album came together.”

Among the new tracks are two previously unreleased demos: “Hard for Me,” which was later reworked into the album’s “Foxy and Free,” and an early take of “Pain in The Neck,” different in tempo and arrangement from the final version. Also included is the previously digital-only Anomaly bonus track “The Return of Space Bear.”

Anomaly Deluxe will also feature enhanced album art, a new live poster, and extensive liner notes by rock writer and Ace Frehley historian, Ron Albanese (including track by track commentary by Frehley). Pre order options can be seen below.

In late 2016 the company entered into an extended agreement with Frehley to release two more studio albums.

Vice President of Sales and Acquisitions at eOne Ken Gullic says, “We’re absolutely thrilled to have an artist of Ace’s stature on our roster, and to re-release this album on eOne. The Anomaly Deluxe edition completes the trifecta of his comeback trilogy, alongside his first Top 10 album, Space Invader, as well as Origins Vol.1.  Ace will follow this with two more studio albums.”

At the time of its release, Anomaly lived up to its name. “There was a lot of pressure on me, because I hadn’t done an album in 20 years,” explains Frehley. “I wasn’t sure it wasn’t going to be well-received. Luckily, it was!” The record debuted at #27 on the U.S. Billboard chart.

Between live shows in the United States, Frehley is writing for his next album, and reveals that sessions have included working with Gene Simmons for an expected 2018 release.

“I am writing for my next studio album,” he begins, “Gene came over my house to write - it went fantastic. In a matter of three hours, he and I came up with two new songs for my (next) record. I’m thrilled.” The occasion was momentous for another reason: “it was the first time I have worked with him while I was sober,” he reveals, “and it was a pleasure.”

In September Frehley and his band will return to Australia and New Zealand for a series of dates with Alice Cooper.

“I have not been to Australia in a while,” he begins, “Alice and I have been friends since the ’70s, and playing with him is going to be bigger and better.”

Speaking of playing, there is a rumor that a certain song will be performed on the tour by Frehley, one that goes back to being a fan favorite Down Under when he first toured there with KISS in 1980. The original “Spaceman” sets the record straight.

“I gotta do ‘Talk to Me’ - for Australia, I’ll do it!”
