Also, available at these shows (which runs from July 16th through August 2nd) will be a "DeathDealer Limited Edition Metal Tour Package," which will contain the following items (housed in a custom printed tin container):

The 13-track CD was mixed and mastered by Stu Marshall at Frontier Studios in Sydney, Australia, and contains massively epic orchestrations, speed metal anthems, and sing along headbangers, as well.

JET RED Original Lineup Together After 25 Years For Live Show

Release Year:
2015

JET RED will be playing X FEST in Modesto, CA on August 22, 2015. The band will feature the original line-up that has not been on stage together in 25 years. That original line-up consists of Willie Hines (lead vocals, guitar), Johnny Feikert (guitar, vocals), Billy Carmassi (drums), and Brad Lang (bass, vocals). The band has reunited recently due to a little luck and good timing. Over the past few years, Hines dealt with some eye health issues and released the Willie Hines Band album "Whatever". Hines and Feikert reconnected recently and have been getting together to jam and begin writing songs together once again. This led to the potential of playing live again. Conversations with Carmassi were well received and the opportunity to get on stage together and see if they could make some magic was strong.

The unnamed band decided to find another bass player due to Brad Lang's full time gig as the mighty Y&T's bass player. Out of respect for Lang, the band decided that they could not call themselves JET RED and were considering several names until a phone call between Hines and Lang determined that Y&T was off for the month of August. JET RED was reborn as soon as the phone was hung up. Fans should look for many of the classic JET RED songs from the two releases (self-titled and Flight Plan) as well as potentially some new songs.

The last time Carmassi was on stage with JET RED can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/Es-TLHIQrIM

There is hope that the show will be not only recorded for audio release but also for a possible DVD release. For more information, please check out the JET RED website at http://www.jetred.com and follow the band via their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jet-Red/105428499495613 or via Twitter at https://twitter.com/jetred

Greece's Rockpages.gr did an exclusive interview with the frontman of ECLIPSE, Erik Martensson. Among other topics, Martensson talked about the future of the band and the possibility of releaing new material next year. Here's the excerpt:

Rockpages.gr: Compared to your usual 4-year gap between studio albums, this one took only 2 ½ years…was it an easier process, this time, for you?
Erik Martensson: We used to release albums not so often because I was doing so many other things and I didn’t have so much time. I did three albums with W.E.T. and all this work with other artists, we decided that we should focus on Eclipse. It’s now or never! We are not getting younger so the next album is not gonna be released in four years. I believe that we will start writing new songs during the winter.

THE TUBES Celebrate 40th Anniversary With UK Tour

The Tubes, the San Francisco-based rock band whose 1975 debut album included the controversial rock anthem White Punks on Dope celebrate their 40th Anniversary when they embark on a 9-date UK tour in August 2015.

The tour kicks off at Bristol, The Fleece on August 3, followed by Brighton Concorde 2 (August 4), Southampton, The Brook (August 6), London Clapham Grand (August 7), Manchester Club Academy (August 8), Glasgow, The Art School (August 9), Leeds Brudenell Arts Club (August 11), Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (August 12), and Wolverhampton Robin 2 (August 13).
The band's over-the-top theatrical visual live performances are known to millions of rock fans around the world for their combined quasi-pornography with outrageous satires of media, consumerism, and politics, epitomised by lead singer Fee Waybill’s deranged on-stage characters, such as the larger-than-life fictitious platform-booted, drugged out British glam rock star Quay Lewd.

In 1977 The Tubes toured the UK, but many of their shows were banned due to British censorship. In February 1978 they released a ground-breaking live album entitled What Do You Want From Live - recorded at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in November 1977, and also made their UK television debut on The Old Grey Whistle Test.
The Tubes are best remembered for their 1983 single She's a Beauty, a top 3 U.S. hit single bolstered by a frequently-played music video in the early days of MTV.

The current five-man line-up of The Tubes features four original members - Fee Waybill (lead vocals), Roger Steen (guitar), Rick Anderson (bass) and Prairie Prince (drums), plus David Medd (keyboards), the latter who’s played with the band since 2006.

The August UK 2015 tour celebrates the band’s 40th Anniversary. The concerts will include all the band’s most memorable songs including What Do You Want From Life?, Mondo Bondage, Amnesia, Sushi Girl, Don’t Wanna Wait Anymore, Talk To Ya Later, She’s A Beauty and White Punks On Dope.

LYNCH MOB RETURN WITH NEW ALBUM REBEL SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE AUGUST 21 VIA FRONTIERS MUSIC SRL

Video For New Single 'Automatic Fix' Out Now

Album Available for Pre-Order Via iTunes at http://radi.al/LynchMobRebeliTunes

Rockers Lynch Mob are back this summer with their most-anticipated release to date. Rebel, the band's 8th studio release, is slated for worldwide release on August 21st via Frontiers Music SRL. The first song released from Rebel is the scorching 'Automatic Fix.' The song features an exciting opening riff and vocal melody and Lynch burns on one of his best guitar solos. A video for the song can be seen here:

Fans who pre-order the album via iTunes at http://radi.al/LynchMobRebeliTunes will receive an instant download of 'Automatic Fix.'

Talking about 'Automatic Fix,' singer Oni Logan states , 'This is an interesting song in that it was the last song that was recorded vocally. I initially thought that it might be best used as instrumental. I simply love this song because of its energy and attitude.'

From the blistering album opener 'Automatic Fix' to the album closer 'War,' it is clear Lynch Mob is back to show fans why they are one of rock's most-loved bands. The Lynch Mob line-up on Rebel is comprised of namesake George Lynch on guitars, Oni Logan on vocals, Jeff Pilson on bass and Brian Tichy on drums. Songs like 'Testify,' 'Sanctuary,' and 'Dirty Money' showcase Oni Logan's trademark vocal ability while putting his diverse lyrical content on full display. The album was produced by George Lynch collaborator Chris "the Wizard" Collier. An EPK talking about the new album was recently released and can be seen at: https://youtu.be/D1CaKhPItbQ

'With Rebel, we allowed ourselves to move outside our normally imposed self restraints and tread some forbidden sonic territories,' recalls George Lynch. 'What surprises me is no matter how far we attempt to stray away from the classic 'Lynch Mob formula,' we can never really escape the chemistry between myself and Oni. There's just a thing that happens there that's unique to us and undeniable.'

The tracklisting for Rebel is:
1)      Automatic Fix
2)      Between The Truth And A Lie
3)      Testify
4)      Sanctuary
5)      Pine Tree Avenue
6)      Jelly Roll
7)      Dirty Money
8)      The Hollow Queen
9)      The Ledge
10)   Kingdon Of Slaves
11)   War
Lynch Mob formed in 1989 after George Lynch parted ways with his former band Dokken. This year marks the 25th Anniversay of Lynch Mob's debut release Wicked Sensation, which is the band's most popular work to date achieving gold-selling status. The band has released seven other albums throughout their career. Lynch Mob will be touring throught the summer in support of Rebel with more information to be announced at a later date.

Some are going to call this the band’s best album because it’s so different to what came before. But those that have a strong affinity with the first two albums could really struggle with the direction of this one.
I’ve sat on this review for a while knowing that some time was needed for the updated direction to sink in. I’m glad I did, as I’ve found that while I really like every song on the album, I’m not coming back to it quite as often as I did with Strange Case Of.

There’s some truly groundbreaking moments on here, some inspired songwriting (full credit for all songs being written by the band) and a monster sound as per usual, but at the same time, maybe a bit of warmth from the first two albums isn’t as present here.
But, when the mood fits, there really isn’t anything else like this on the market and no one has the balls or the passion of Halestorm.
And Lzzy Hale is a genuine, bonafide, all-American rock n roll star. Her vocals on this album are simply incredible.

So the sound of this album varies almost from track to track as the guys (and gal) try and cram everything they’ve come up with in. That shows terrific talent and diversity in the songwriting and production departments (production by Jay Joyce of In Pursuit & Bedlam fame, recorded in Nashville).

There’s the high-tech modern rock of Scream and Sick Individual (with its big groovy chorus); and the balls to the wall rocker Mayhem, which I adore. Three great songs right here.
More traditional Halestorm can be found on the aggressive I Am The Fire; the rousing Amen; mood driven The Reckoning and Apocalyptic.

The guys take a shot at FM radio with some Pink inspired commercial tracks such as the beautifully sung ballad Dear Daughter and What Sober Couldn’t Say that features a stunning vocal and smooth chorus.
Then there’s the country influence of Nashville seeping through on several tracks which if de-rocked, could easily be covered by Nashville’s finest females - New Modern Love; the amazing ballad Bad Girl’s World; the metal-country Gonna Get Mine and the biker-rally ready I Like It Heavy.

What I also like it the transitions between tracks and the occasional ad-lib or segue way into the next track – it shows that a lot of time and thought has gone into sequencing and how the album should flow. The art of “album making” is not all lost!
As is the case with many releases, there’s two bonus tracks – the simple riff-n-groove-hard rocker Jump The Gun and the catchy commercial modern rocker Unapologetic (touching on the Pink influence again).

This is a monster record and I applaud all involved for their commitment to the art of making a full album and executing it well. The sound and style is a little more diverse and modern than the band’s first two releases, so I expect there to be some debate over this album’s merits.
While I think Strange Case Of was a more focused and direct record, there is no doubting that Into The Wild Life is a very accomplished piece of work with a ton of great new songs.

There are so many good releases around in all genres of music, and a lot of positive reviews from fans and right here from me. So it’s great to have something as reliable as a Bret Michaels solo album to help balance the scales.
As regular as a high fiber diet and consisting of the same resultant deposit, Bret’s solo musical output is thrust upon us each year, with every new project recycling at least half of the album before and if we’re truly lucky, it’s all recycled, giving us the opportunity to recall just how shite the rock n roll rancher really is.
True Shit Grit is the musical equivalent of a well-matured cowboy compost.

Having a third go at becoming a cowpoke, Bret rolls out the regulars in a move so devoid of creativity, Barney the Dinosaur would assign an ‘F’ to this project.
F for Flogging a dead horse that is.

App Song (from Jammin’) is here; Nothing To Lose (from Jammin’ & Custom Built) is here; so too is Open Road (from Custom Built and Freedom of Soul); Rock My Country and Looking For A Good Time of course (from Freedom of Sound); Fallen (from Jammin’); oh, and don’t forget Raine (how could you, it’s been on Songs Of Life, Jammin With Paid Guests and Freedom of Sound).
If that’s not enough repetitiveness for you, try out that rarely covered tune Sweet Home Alabama (Jammin’); What I Got (Custom, Jammin’); Stay With Me (Songs Of Life, Ballads Blues…); and of course, those great old country megahits Nothing But A Good Time, Talk Dirty To Me, Unskinny Bop, Something To Believe In and that never heard before Every Rose Has It’s Thorn – all of those songs also included from the Sponging Off Friends album.
Of course these are all NEW versions, so it’s ok to roll them out all over again (and again and again). Just add steel guitar and a few more banjo’s and you get the idea.

Lamer than a 3-legged Llama, Bret Michaels has managed to hit a new low with this tossed together, cheaply recorded, countrified compilation package. No rock fan is going to want this and I can’t see what country fan would either.
Bret – it’s time to put the horse in the stables, you’ve rode your last (solo) rodeo.
If ANY of these songs are rehashed ever again, I will be forced to take the ‘Pointless Releases For Suckers’ trophy from Tom Scholz and hand it over.
