Three of metal’s finest vocalists, known collectively as THE THREE TREMORS - Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, DIO DISCIPLES), Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin (JAG PANZER, SATAN’S HOST, TITAN FORCE), and Sean "The Hell Destroyer" Peck (CAGE, DENNER/SHERMANN, DEATH DEALER) - Steel Cartel Records have announced the Friday, November 15th, 2019 release of a 3-disc digipak, called ‘THE THREE TREMORS-THE SOLO VERSIONS.’
Each of the three singers perform the entire self-titled debut album alone, adding their own stylings and nuances to all 12 of the songs. This brings a fresh and completely new take on the ground-breaking debut release, and all three versions are incredible in their own right. Also included are 3 live bonus tracks recorded from their US tour. Each of the discs has brand new original artwork from DUSAN MARCOVIC, and reflects the monstrous nature of this endeavor.
Bonus Tracks for Solo Versions:
Invaders From The Sky Live
When the Last Scream Fades Live
The Three Tremors Live
Included in the set is all new artwork and packaging, 3 separate discs (The Ripper version, The Tyrant Version, The Hell Destroyer Version), 3 live bonus tracks, and all new photographs.
The Hell Destroyer: "We each sang and recorded the entire album and so much great material got left on the cutting room floor because of how we pieced together the original release. I felt we had a really cool product that we could put together and I started working with Dave Garcia to mix them and assemble them. We contacted the artist and had him paint some incredible cover art to match the ferocity of the recordings."
Ripper: "Everyone each had their own amazing version of the album and I was hoping we would find a way to get them released and now here they are."
The Tyrant: "This is a really cool, unique product that as a metal fan myself would want to have. The different approach we each took to the songs makes each version really fresh and interesting. Each guy really did a great job and it is definitely a trip the metal fan is going to enjoy."
Additionally, the band will be embarking on a European tour in November. The trio will be hitting several new territories as they seek to expand their reach to the European metal fans. The dates below are confirmed with more to be announced.
Ripper: "Excited to return to Europe and play to the fans now that the album has been out for a while now. We will be bringing some new surprises and changing up the set a bit from the last run out there we did. See you in the pit!"
The Tyrant: "I did a run with Jag Panzer earlier this year, and I am happy to tell all the people I met out on the road and asked about the Tremors return, that yes the Tremors are coming back to kill! See you in November!"
The Hell Destroyer: "Well we have been non-stop working on material since we did the US Tour and planning these dates and our return to Europe as one of our top priorities. We are supporting the SOLO VERSIONS release and will have the digipaks for sale out on the road along with some killer merchandise with the new cover artwork. I am stoked we are hitting a lot of places that we missed on the first run. Bring every metalhead you know because this is unlike any show you have ever seen!"

The mighty Metal goddess Tarja adorns the cover of the latest star studded issue of Fireworks Magazine. She rubs shoulders in our 148 colour pages alongside the multitalented collective that is the Michael Schenker Fest who are back with a brand new album called 'Revelation'. Beloved British rockers Thunder talk about celebrating 30 years in the business but that is eclipsed by the institution that is Status Quo, who return with their 33rd album, and their first new material since the passing of Rick Parfitt.
Elsewhere we have the likes of Black Star Riders, Hammerfall, Alter Bridge, Skillet, Eclipse, Volbeat, Steve Vai and more - 34 interviews in total! It doesn't end there either, as within our features we have a guide to the studio output of beloved Aussie rocker Jimmy Barnes and a look at some of the ladies of the genrevia Rob Evans' Sisters In Rock. This issue also sees the final part of the popular feature The Divine Decade, penned by Dave Reynolds, bringing things to a close with his report on the events of 1983.
As usual, the issue is bolstered by a massive reviews section, dwarfing that of any other music magazine on the market. If it's out there, chances are it's in here and we'll give you an honest view of what it's like, whether your tastes are Classic Rock, AOR, Metal, Blues, Southern, Progressive or Symphonic. Just no growling, we're not really into that.
Oh yes, it also comes with a free CD, which gives you 93 songs to try. All for a meagre £5.99. If there's better value to be found in another magazine, we'd like to know where!
"'Under the Sun' is a new/old song that was originally written and recorded for the “Who We Are” album (produced and mixed by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem), but due to the length of the album it didn’t make the final track listing.
We had completely forgotten about this song and then it came up in conversation. So, to tide things over while we finish recording the new Vega album, we thought we would take it off that dusty shelf and release it. Enjoy this new/old song and get ready for an all new Vega album and tour in 2020!!!" - VEGA

One of the many former singers JIZZY PEARL has returned for now.
“Undress Your Madness” is Pretty Maids’ highly anticipated follow up to 2016's critically and commercially successful release “Kingmaker", a record that continued the “revitalized” path that the band set out upon with the now stone cold classic albums “Pandemonium” and “Motherland." It's always difficult to follow a successful and inspired record, but “Undress Your Madness” shows Pretty Maids are still in the freshest and most vital phase of their career since the early 90’s.
"I think the new album is a kind of continuation of what we’ve done the past ten years,” says singer Ronnie Atkins. "I’m really happy about the way it turned out 'cause there’s a lot of good songs on it in my humble opinion and it’s probably even more melodic than our previous efforts.”
The production, as always, is absolutely stellar thanks to Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Kobara And The Lotus), who has given the band a sound that not only reinvigorates them, but also incorporates the beloved soundscapes of the past. Modern and classic at the same time, if you will. "It’s just a match made in heaven I think. There’s a great chemistry between us, we share the same humor and thoughts about what a good song is, so there’s a lot in common,” continues Ronnie. "Quite simply the most gentle and easy going guy I've ever worked with.”
What can then be said about Ronnie Atkins and Ken Hammer? One of the best songwriting teams in the genre, hands down. Atkins' voice just gets better and better as the years go by. Menacing and vicious one minute, melodic and soothing the next. Likewise, Hammer is on fire here and lays down some of his heaviest riffs in recent memory. Rene Shades' bass playing is as thunderous as ever, propelling the incredible rhythms of the songs along with the superb drumming of Allan Sørensen, who's playing matches perfectly with what each song calls for. Chris Laney's keyboards add a wonderful texture and nuance to these brilliant compositions, tying everything together in the perfect package.
Every track on this beauty is worthy of your attention, whether it is an in-your-face barn burner such as the storming opener “Serpentine,” the title track, and “Black Thunder” or timeless melodic metal anthems such as “Firesoul Fly" and “Will You Still Kiss Me (If I See You In Heaven)”, or even a superb power ballad like “Shadowlands”.
“The album was written in a very short period of time,” tells Ronnie Atkins. “Basically it was written in January, just prior to recording it in February this year. So everything was very fresh when we entered the studio, in fact, so fresh that some of the songs were hardly finished when we started, but it all fell into place as we preceded with the recordings.”
The final result is “Undress Your Madness,” a record that has everything that Pretty Maids fans could possibly ask for!

Translated description: “This is a happy-pop in the 60s Spirit, but with a gloomy and bizarre text about a delicate soul that refuses to let go of her girlfriend, no matter the price. Since the last solo - unexpected acoustic and MELANCHOLIC SMOOTH SEAS DON'T make good sailors - åge has now bevegd closer to an electric 60 s-expression, although several sounds have a clear and natural belonging to the previous album.”
