After taking the world of rock music by storm with last year's surprise hit 'Amber Galactic', which also got nominated for a Swedish Grammy in the process, and leaving people speechless after a breath-taking first European tour in November/December, Swedish classic/progressive rock supergroup THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA have completed the works on their impatiently awaited next album.

Today the band reveals details of their upcoming album, entitled 'Sometimes The World Ain't Enough'.
Just like 2017's 'Amber Galactic' the album will feature two different cover artworks (see above) for the regular and limited editions.
The album is set for release on June 29, 2018 via Nuclear Blast and will contain 12 brand new songs. The limited first edition digipack CD as well as the vinyl will also feature an exclusive bonus track. The Japanese version will also feature an additional bonus track.

'Sometimes The World Ain't Enough' was again produced by the band themselves and was recorded at Handsome Hard Music / Larsson Music Studio as well as Nordic Sound Lab in Skara, Sweden. Mixing duties were taken on by the band's guitarist/percussionist Sebastian Forslund and mastering was done by Thomas ”Plec” Johansson at The Panic Room.
Pre-orders will start soon.

Soon, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA will descend from their extraterrestrial orbit and take over your hometown. The place you thought you knew will for one very special night become a palace of sin, where the champagne hits you harder, the stakes are higher and all the women are undercover space commanders. And on top of all that, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA will put on the rock show of the year, guaranteed to blow your mind.
Can you handle it?

MelodicRock Records 2017 Releases

A special mention for the MRR releases of 2017. I would personally rank them all in the Top 50, but in an attempt to remain unbiased, I’ve left them out. But I am really proud of what the label has managed to achieve this year, it’s been MRR’s biggest year for number of releases, plus for sales in total and for individual titles setting sales records.
So what this means – I’ll have to make 2018 even bigger and better and so far it’s looking just that way! Stay tuned for news soon!

A huge HUGE thanks to the artists for believing in MRR and making this small label your home.
Another big thanks to all the journos, media outlets and magazines that featured MRR releases during the year.
And finally a big BIG thank you to all the stores and distribution outlets that also supported MRR and did such a great job getting these out there to fans.
To every single person that bought one or all of the releases this year – you guys ROCK!

THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA Launch New Single Ahead Of Album in May

Swedish classic/progressive rock supergroup THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA (featuring members of SOILWORK and ARCH ENEMY) have released the first single off of their forthcoming third studio album, Amber Galactic.

Comments singer Björn Strid: "'Midnight Flyer' might be the ultimate THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA track, and all the emotions that we think a classic rock track should convey are on there. When you find yourself on a night flight across the oceans, you’ve just left everything you love behind and once you land you know that nothing will ever be the same. You've got nothing left to lose, and you just want to escape reality, no matter the cost. A melancholic over the top party anthem, about the deep personal insights you can only get at 36,000 ft with a stiff drink in your trembling hands, and the mysterious beauty that you hope will be there waiting for you when you arrive."

Board the plane and check out 'Midnight Flyer' exclusively via MetalSucks: http://www.metalsucks.net/2017/03/23/exclusive-premiere-night-flight-orchestra-midnight-flyer/

Amber Galactic is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2017 via Nuclear Blast and will be available as limited edition digipak CD featuring an alternate cover art (see at bottom of this message), 2LP vinyl (black and violet sparkle) and as digital download and stream via all known platforms.

The tracklist for Amber Galactic reads as follows:

01. Midnight Flyer
02. Star Of Rio
03. Gemini
04. Sad State Of Affairs
05. Jennie
06. Domino
07. Josephine
08. Space Whisperer
09. Something Mysterious
10. Saturn In Velvet
11. Just Another Night BONUS TRACK (limited edition digipak, vinyl)
12. Fly Tonight (Never Rewind) BONUS TRACK (Japan only)

When asked about the direction of NFO within the realm of classic rock, Strid explains with a chuckle: "Most other classic rock bands sound like weed or LSD - we sound like cocaine."
