The mighty Canadian legends Harem Scarem mark time between studio releases with this career spanning double live CD/DVD. Supporting their brilliant second comeback album Thirteen, the band rip through 20 tracks that take in nearly every album of their 25 year career.
This is an absolute must have for all fans of the band.

Do yourself a favor and start the playback at 1.10 so as to avoid the awful stage introduction.
The recording starts a bit rough with the new track Garden of Eden, but the mix improves as the band launches into some of their most memorable tracks.
The debut is represented by spirited versions of Hard To Love, Distant Memory and Slowly Slipping Away.
The classic Mood Swings has Saviors Never Cry, Change Comes Around, No Justice, Sentimental Blvd and Mandy.
The brilliant new album shines via Garden Of Eden, Troubled Times, Midnight Hours, All I Need and Saints And Sinners.
Turn Around and So Blind appear from Big Bang Theory as well as the anthem Killing Me from Weight Of The World.
The title track from Voice Of Reason gets a run as does the hard riffing Dagger from the underrated Overload album.

I actually find myself skipping some of the earlier tracks to enjoy the more recent and modern tracks as I feel Harem is on band that just nailed the crossover from old-to-new with their constantly evolving sound.
I’d love to comment on the DVD, but I’ve been sent 2 Disc 1’s instead of the actual DVD disc, so I guess I’ll have to sort that out.

No matter your preference for albums by these guys, there is no understating what gifted songwriters the guys are. The Hess/Leperance team has delivered to me more all-time favorite songs than just about any other artist I enjoy listening to.
This disc features 20 of them, but there’s so many more. This is a great testament to the band’s longevity and creative brilliance.

Finally proof that not all new artists playing classic 80s hard rock come from Sweden! The USA used to be the hotbed of the genre, delivering platinum selling band after band. Then it all dried up and the great Scandi take-over began.
But New York rockers Station won’t be denied their place in history!
This high energy outfit deliver their debut album in 2015, boasting a sound born out of 80s American rock – think Sunset Strip.
In fact, this album could be one of those gems, previously lost in a vault somewhere for 20 years, but no, it’s all new and sounds great.
Better even that the guys nail some really catchy tunes.

I Don’t Want To Know Your Name is a perfect anthemic Winger/Slaughter screamer to open the album; Everything is deep in harmonies and a catchy chorus and big riffs; Dressed To Kill actually has a Kiss vibe to it despite no direct connection to the title; its high energy, face paced, hard rocking fun.
The tempo stops briefly for one of the great anthemic ballads of recent years. Are You Sleeping Alone is a masterpiece for fans of the high-sentiment 80s rock genre.
The brilliant, very melodic and somewhat moody True Believer kicks the pace into the highest gear yet; With Me Tonight is another mid-tempo moody number; More Than Enough reminds me of the Bulletboys; Waiting For You is another solid ballad; Never Say Never takes the high notes over the top and I Can’t Live Without You is the most circumspect numbers included here.

There are 15 tracks included – great value for money – but this is also the one downside to the album. It’s pretty long already with most tracks in the 4 and 5 minute range, so to have 15 included for 71 minutes of music is probably 3 tracks too many. I’d have preferred this to be a 55 minute album and be left wanting more.
But, you can always skip or edit a playlist to your liking and the basic fact is there are at least 10 cracking hard rock tunes on here that warrant high praise and have been on high rotation with me for some time now.

RICK SPRINGFIELD Delivers Songwriting Masterclass with 'Rocket Science'

Release Year:
2015
Categories:
News Feed

“On an island made of sand
In a sea of our frustrations
We rebuild the same wasteland
And its dark effect
Touch our lips to bloodstained hands
And we pray for our salvation
As we dream of promised lands
Where we connect…”

~ We Connect

Extraordinary…

He’s done it again folks, he’s done it again!

Another masterpiece is set for delivery February 19. Take a bow RICK SPRINGFIELD.

Rock Science is another crazy ride for long time fans of Rick’s. This is filled with some of the catchiest tunes of his career and has the energy of a 19 year old just breaking into the business.

Once again Rick delves deep to deliver some brilliant lyrics, but all in all, this is a pretty happy record. And there are some quite extraordinary songs featured here.
In fact, there’s one tune that just might be the most infectiously happy song ever recorded in the history of the world.

This is Rick as you’ve never heard before! This is going to throw some fans completely off balance. First listen I was shocked. Second I was uncertain. Third I was hooked. And from there is just gets better and better as these songs cling to your brain like a new born koala grips its mother’s back. I’m 2 weeks in and can’t stop playing this, just as was the case with Venus In Overdrive and Songs For…

The production and mix is simply perfect, as is the flow of the album and the contagious uptempo ride fans are about to go on.

So just what has Rick done this time?

Rick has taken the sonic template of Songs For The End Of The World, the same modern melodic rock songwriting style and production quality, the same band and added violins, fiddles, banjos, mandolins, steel guitar and harmonica to create something extraordinary.

Yes, he’s gone Nashville, but this is still 100% Rick Springfield. It’s Songs For The End Of The World meets Keith Urban. But don’t let that paint the full picture of this album. Far from it.

At the end of the day though, it’s the songs. This is genius stuff folks. I hope the change in direction is not any hindrance to discovering just how good these songs are, the amazing vocals and just how damn good this record sounds.

Robbie LaBlanc just has one of those voices. He would have been a star had he been part of the era of 80s vocal royalty such as Mike Reno, Lou Gramm, Eric Martin and James Christian.
Robbie has a really likeable voice that hovers between Glass Tiger’s Alan Frew and Mike Reno.
Thankfully we get him all to ourselves now though. With 2 great Blanc Faces albums and now a second Find Me release – the project arranged, mixed, mastered and recorded by the band’s drummer/keyboardist Daniel Flores.
Philip Lindstrand provides some world class guitar parts and Soren Kronqvist provides more keyboards.

And yes, there’s keyboards everywhere on this album, but at the same time, it’s a pretty tough batch of AOR tunes thanks to the guitar’s equally important role.
And Flores’ production gives the whole package a really thumping sound.
Songs come courtesy of Alessandro Del Vecchio (of course!), Niclas Olsson (of Alyson Avenue fame), plus Tom & James Martin.

The intro leaves no doubt that keyboards will play a prominent role on the album. The punch that follows says guitars won’t be left behind!

Nowhere To Hide is an uptempo melodic rocker that has the required urgency that an opener requires and a purposeful chorus that mixed guitars and keyboards perfectly.
Let Love Rule is even better. It’s a beautifully sung AOR anthem with a sentimental twist. Moving fast with a thumping beat and strong guitars, but also layered in keyboards, the chorus is particularly catchy.
Forever is a big piano ballad with a soulful vocal. A big 80s ballad that Loverboy or Glass Tiger could have easily released in their prime and scored a hit from it.
Another Day gets the tempo back to rollicking and turns the keyboards up to 11. I love the verse – the melody is pure ear candy. The chorus of course is just as good.
Dark Angel might sound moody, but it’s anything but. It’s one of the album most upbeat and pompous tracks – a glorious slice of classic AOR with big keyboards and a monster chorus.
Bleed In The Rain is 80s keyboard and guitar heaven without sounding dated thanks to Daniel’s excellent production and mix. A nice moody mid-tempo track with a great chorus.

Face To Face follows suit. More 80s FM radio friendly melodic rock with Robbie’s brilliant vocals and an easy going chorus.
Where Do I Go is the kind of moody track I love. It builds from a slow start to a big 80s chorus. Definitely some more Glass Tiger comparisons here.
Midnight Memories is a relatively restrained track until the chorus comes and Robbie goes into full power and blows up the speakers.
Don't Slip Away From Me could have been straight off the debut Glass Tiger album, both in sound and commercial appeal. The catchy chorus is pure Euro-AOR.
Did You Feel Any Love is another 80s gem – something like Signal could have included on their debut album. It’s a cool free flowing, fast moving AOR anthem with keyboards everywhere.
I'm Free is a terrific faithful rendition of the Kenny Loggins soundtrack classic. Robbie sounds fabulous and the fact this sits very comfortably amongst the rest of the material should give fans an indication of the style used throughout.

It’s gold for AOR/melodic rock fans. Well produced, solid choice of songs that sounds very consistent despite the different writers and brilliant, brilliant vocals from Robbie LaBlanc.
Another winner for all involved.

Forming in Calgary in 1983, Boulevard, or BLVD as they were originally known were signed to CBS Records Germany, of all places. However despite the band decamping to Germany and shooting a video for ‘Rainy Day in London’, both band and label were duly surprised to find that the single had made #45 in the German singles chart. Buoyed by the success of the single the band returned to Canada where they continued to write and record, and despite the odd line-up change they signed a major deal with MCA records in 1987 which led to the debut self-titled album being released in 1988.

MCA threw their weight behind the band and Boulevard scored two top thirty single successes in the Canadian charts. ‘Never Give Up’ and ‘Far From Over’, both had video support and were pretty much staples on Much Music in Canada. The further release of ‘Dream On’ gave the band yet another hit single making it inside the Top 40.
1990 saw the release of ‘Into The Street’ preceded by ‘Lead Me On’, which made it to #21 in the Canadian singles chart followed by the massive ‘Crazy Life’ which stalled at #47 following a record company clear out during which Boulevard found their support network at the label decimated in the shakeup.

The band went on extended hiatus in 1991 until a chance phone call in 2013 led to the band playing their first gig in 22 years at Firefest in the UK. Greeted like long-lost heroes by the faithful, and a  somewhat more reserved greeting by the as of yet unconverted, Boulevard showed exactly why they are held in such high regard with a stunning performance that had 1900 people on their feet shrieking for more as the band ended what is now considered to be one of those once in a lifetime performances that only some ever have the chance to experience.

On returning to their native Canada the question was posed, “Why the hell aren’t we doing this more often?” The answer? Well no-one had one.
Going into the world renowned Warehouse Studios in Vancouver and playing thirteen of their best known songs including the five Canadian hit singles in front of a handpicked audience, each with a set of headphones receiving a perfect audio mix, just seemed like the right thing to do. Not only that, but to record it for DVD. Why?  The answer is simple really, because despite numerous requests for one there was nothing usable from back in the day, so why not record exactly what people wanted to see and hear with brand new technology.

Containing thirteen tacks, stunning state of the art mix from what is essentially a front row seat in the house, this is a personal memento of how it should be done and is the first and only commercially available Boulevard live recording during the band’s 32 year history.

This is a LIMITED WORLDWIDE release! 500 copies only available in the USA and Canada in NTSC, and 500 copies only available in Europe in PAL format. The DVD can be ordered directly from www.rocktopia.co.uk in Europe and www.boulevardband.com in North American and Canada.
Pre-orders available from Monday November 30 and the DVD will ship from Monday December 7 - just in time for that perrfect Christmas treat.

MAGNUM Deliver 'Sacred Blood & Divine Lies' February 26

Artist:
Friday, February 26, 2016
Categories:
News Feed

For a musician like Tony Clarkin who composes constantly, viewing and selecting the material he has written is always one of the most significant moments during the creation process of a new Magnum album. On the one hand it’s a luxury to have the opportunity to separate the wheat from the chaff and to be in a position to use only the strongest numbers. On the other hand it’s also a difficult process, because after all the creator of those songs has grown fond of every single one of them.

“I usually start composing for our next album immediately after the release of the previous one,” Clarkin explains. “When Escape From The Shadow Garden arrived at the stores in March 2014, my thoughts had already turned to our next recording.” Clarkin wrote 25 new songs during the subsequent months, the most promising 13 of which were selected for Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies.

Ten of those tracks made it onto the new album, the other three onto the included bonus CD. “It would have been too much of a shame to disregard them,” Clarkin reckons, “particularly since our fans want to know after every release what happened to the rest of the material. This time they’re getting it in addition to the album tracks.”

The ten numbers on the regular album present Magnum from their most rocking side again. The epicentre of this soundquake features, along with frontman Bob Catley’s charismatic voice, Clarkin’s awesome riff and lead guitar which provides the all-important substructure to the songs. Courtesy of his driving style, Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies counts without a doubt among the group’s most dynamic releases. Clarkin: “I’ve always been into rock numbers. But it isn’t necessarily that easy to write really good rock material. It’s much more simple to compose a ballad. But that dynamic pace suits Magnum perfectly.”

Clarkin is referring mainly to the title track and opener of the new album. “I feel that Bob delivered it really well,” Clarkin praises his vocalist Bob Catley. “As far as I am concerned, ´Sacred Blood Devine Lies` is definitely likely to join the ranks of great Magnum classics.” So it comes as no surprise that Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies with its significant message became the album title.

Of course there are more highlights on this thoroughly powerful recording. Clarkin was inspired to write the anthemnic ´Gypsy Queen` at a concert in St. Petersburg, a city which deeply impressed him with its unique atmosphere. By no means less memorable is ´Your Dreams Won’t Die´ which is based on a piano chord sequence and could lead you to believe that Magnum have put to music their own band philosophy. “To me, the title and lyrics have an almost religious depth,” says Clarkin. “There’s a saying that somebody is not forgotten if their name is remembered.” A successful rock group like Magnum should be entitled to eternal renown, shouldn’t it? Says Clarkin: “You want my honest opinion? I don’t think that far ahead, but of course it’s a nice notion that this band may always be remembered because so many people love our music.”

And last but not least: Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies closes with a song which surprised even Clarkin. “I liked the general sound of ´Don’t Cry Baby` from the start,” he remarks. “Although I initially didn’t have a lyric, the melody kept going through my head, as well as the chorus with acoustic and e-guitars plus piano. We even kept the drums from the demo version because our drummer Harry James liked them so much. He said: ´I love it the way it is. We shouldn’t change a thing about it.`”

So here it is: Sacred Blood "Divine" Lies - again with a fantastic cover by Rodney Matthews - has been scheduled for release by Steamhammer/SPV on 26 February 2016 as digipak version incl. DVD, 2LP coloured version, CD and Download and will you don’tt need to be a clairvoyant to predict this be loved by the band’s fans. That Clarkin will probably already have his mind on Magnum’s next release by that time well, thatt’s another story.

Clone of Rock Candy Records Latest - TANE CAIN & MONTROSE

Artist:
Release Year:
2015

News Feed

The following four new Rock Candy titles are available now from www.rockcandyrecords.com for a discounted price including postage to anywhere in the world for the next two weeks.

TANE CAIN 'S/T' CANDY287

THE PROLIFERATION OF female singers in rock really took hold in the early 1980s, fuelled by the huge popularity of performers such as Pat Benatar, Ann Wilson, Stevie Nicks and Cher, amongst many others. It was a golden period, with many new names appearing at an exciting rate. But for every successful contender there were an equal number of artists for which fame and fortune sadly stayed just out of reach. One of those was Tan' Cain, a Californian based chanteuse with the voice and looks that should have propelled her to stardom.

Issued in 1982, Tan' Cain's self titled album has gone down in AOR folk lore as one of those records that had it all but, sadly, ended up as a fascinating curiosity rather than a big seller, despite the help and assistance of a major record label and several seasoned musicians. Chief amongst her supporters was her then husband Jonathan Cain the keyboard player and songwriter for Journey. Jonathan brought much to the party, co-writing most of the songs, playing on the album and roping in renowned producer Keith Olson to oversee the recording.

Employing a coterie of top west coast session players, including guitarist Tim Pierce (Giant) and fellow Journey members Neal Schon (guitar) and Mike Baird (drums), the album was constructed with pin-point accuracy, giving rise to a record that has been a long term critical hit far beyond its original commercial failure. Check out such gems as 'Temptation', 'My Time To Fly' and 'Holdin On' for irrefutable proof.

SPECIAL DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION, FULLY REMASTERED SOUND, 12 PAGE FULL COLOUR BOOKLET, 3,500 WORD ESSAY ABOUT THE MAKING OF THE ALBUM, NEW INTERVIEWS AND ENHANCED ARTWORK.

TRACK LISTING: 1. TEMPTATION 2. DANGER ZONE 3. MY TIME TO FLY 4. CRAZY EYES 5. HOLDIN' ON 6. ALMOST ANY NIGHT 7. VERTIGO 8. HURTIN' KIND 9. SUSPICIOUS EYES

MONTROSE - 'PAPER MONEY' CANDY278

THERE'S LITTLE DOUBT that the self titled debut Montrose album was an absolute game changer in the world of hard rock and heavy metal. In fact, these days it is pretty much recognised as ground zero for all that became of the genre, with a sound and swagger that birthed many followers, including Van Halen. Formed by and named after guitarist Ronnie Montrose, the band featured then unknown vocalist Sammy Hagar who would later go on to enjoy a successful solo career and, ironically, front Van Halen.

The second Montrose album, craftily titled 'Paper Money', was recorded and released in late 1974, produced once again by master of the art Ted Templeman. It was a record that found band leader Ronnie Montrose making a decidedly left of centre stylistic turn, introducing a collection of mellower, perhaps more introspective songs into the mix. Sure, it was still very much a hard rock album, but the emphasis was placed on mood and atmosphere rather than muscle and brawn. It was a record that gave insight into the enormous creative talent of Ronnie and his rather unorthodox working methods.

There's much to be enjoyed here, including the Jagger/Richards penned 'Connection', spooky instrumental 'Starliner', intriguing 'Spaceage Sacrifice' and the epic and eerily prophetic title track. Best of all though is 'I Got The Fire', a song that easily picks up where the debut album left off, a track effectively covered by Iron Maiden several years later.

SPECIAL DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION, FULLY REMASTERED SOUND, 12 PAGE FULL COLOUR BOOKLET, 3,500 WORD ESSAY ABOUT THE MAKING OF THE ALBUM, NEW INTERVIEWS AND ENHANCED ARTWORK.

TRACK LISTING: 1. Underground 2. Connection 3. The Dreamer 4. Starliner 5. I Got The Fire 6. Spaceage Sacrifice 7. We're Going Home 8. Paper Money

MONTROSE - 'WARNER BROS. PRESENTS' CANDY279

MONTROSE HAD SUCCESSFULLY crafted a respected reputation for themselves with two albums of Class-A hard rock, before abrasive relationships eroded the band's central core. Vocalist Sammy Hagar was effectively forced to leave the band by an increasingly mercurial Ronnie Montrose, a man who ran the band with complete control and authority. With Hagar cast aside Ronnie appointed new boy Bob James, who like Hagar, was an unknown quantity, but the possessor of an extraordinary voice.

When the band began to plan the recording of their third album, 'Warner Brother's Presents'', Ronnie instigated yet another significant change, by rejecting powerful producer Ted Templeman, in favour of assuming production duties himself. This led to a more eclectic record, that incorporated several moods, ranging from drawn out epics such as 'Whaler' and 'Matriach' to snappier cuts such as 'Oh Lucky Man' [written by Alan Price] and 'Black Train', a proto speed metal romp. But the album's stand out track is 'Dancin' Feet' with its snappy and uninhibited guitar riff holding centre court.

When the album was released in September 1975, it further enhanced the band's reputation as musicians, but it failed to alleviate their declining sales and lack of chart momentum. It also clearly demonstrated Ronnie Montrose's continued quest for musical development and diversity, a fact underscored by the appointment of keyboard player Jim Alcivar, helping to pride a vivid and contemporary sounding palette that indicated the direction to come.

SPECIAL DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION, FULLY REMASTERED SOUND, 12 PAGE FULL COLOUR BOOKLET, 3,500 WORD ESSAY ABOUT THE MAKING OF THE ALBUM, NEW INTERVIEWS AND ENHANCED ARTWORK.

TRACK LISTING: 1. Matriarch 2. All I Need 3. Twenty Flight Rock 4. Whaler 5. Dancin' Feet 6. O Lucky Man 7. One And A Half 8. Clown Woman 9. Black Train

MONTROSE - 'JUMP ON IT' CANDY280

MONTROSE HAD ENJOYED a stellar reputation as one of the best bands of the mid 70s, with their debut album, in particular, garnering extraordinary praise, if not immediate sales success. But the band had also been heavily criticised for failing to deliver a consistent body of work, with Ronnie Montrose insisting on a course of experimentation rather than repetition. The band's previous album, 1975's 'Warner Brother's Presents'' was greeted with faint praise by many connoisseurs of the hard rock genre, with many citing leader Ronnie's need to diversify the band's sound as a self destructive achilles heel.

It was also noted that the band's recordings had become somewhat muted so, under pressure to conform, the label made him abandon production duties and had the reigns over to Jack Douglas, a man who had developed a red-hot reputation producing classic Aerosmith albums. Musically this was just the tonic needed and 'Jump On It' went someway to return the band to former glories, setting out a more defined rock sound, despite the fact that bassist Alan Fitzgerald had been sidelined in favour of a session player.

Issued in Sept 1976, the album contains a number of standout songs, including the hard hitting title track 'Jump On It', 'What Are You Waitin' For', 'Let's Go' and 'Merry -Go-Round' all of them showcasing the superior talent of vocalist Bob James. However, with Ronnie still not able to come to terms with losing control of his own band, and further internal friction, the band, sadly, split up.

SPECIAL DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION, FULLY REMASTERED SOUND, 12 PAGE FULL COLOUR BOOKLET, 3,500 WORD ESSAY ABOUT THE MAKING OF THE ALBUM, NEW INTERVIEWS AND ENHANCED ARTWORK.

TRACK LISTING: 1. Let's Go 2. What Are You Waiting For? 3. Tuft-Sedge 4. Music Man 5. Jump On It 6. Rich Man 7. Crazy For You 8. Merry-Go-Round

JOURNEY's STEVE SMITH Talks 2016-2017 Tour

Artist:
Release Year:
2015

Tour News

From STEVE SMITH'S facebook page today:

I have been invited to tour with Journey for the 2016-2017 touring season and I have agreed to play drums for the group during this period!

I’ve enjoyed working with Journey guitarist Neal Schon for many years and playing on his solo albums, including The Calling and his latest release Vortex. In fact, Neal and I still share the creative chemistry we had when I was a member of Journey. When we work in the studio on his music, it's essentially just the two of us, jamming, writing, arranging and recording.

Over the years, he has mentioned that he'd like to have me tour with Journey again. The invitation has always been appreciated but with my busy schedule always being booked at least a year in advance, the timing was never right. Some changes within the band have once again brought me the invitation to tour and this time we were able to plan in advance and work a Journey tour into my schedule.

Like an actor capable of playing a wide variety of roles, I'm a musician who enjoys, and is comfortable performing, diverse genres of music. My group Vital Information, as well as the other great jazz and world music artists that I tour and record with, remain a musical priority. I will also be performing with them during the next two years and by 2018 will resume my career full-time as a touring and recording jazz musician.

My decision to tour with Journey in 2016-2017 is based on many factors:

My relationship with Neal is strong and we enjoy playing together. I've been in touch with Jonathan Cain and Ross Valory and we have a good rapport both personally and musically. All four of us share a common history and have created some enduring music together. I've met and spent time with Arnel Pineda and have great respect for him both as a person and vocalist.

I am excited to revisit a role that was a formative part of my career, performing music that has touched many people for more than 30 years. My kids Ian, Elizabeth, Kasia and Zac have not seen me play with the group (Ian has but he was too young to remember), it will be fun to have them see me perform with the band. Finally, I can say "yes" to the many fans who have asked if I would tour with Journey again.

My hope is that Journey fans will appreciate a new line-up similar to the Escape and Frontiers era -- and will want to revisit this timeless music with me. By bringing my musical experience to the table along with the years that the members of Journey have spent touring, I'm sure this new incarnation of Journey will develop its own special magic. It's going to be amazing. I look forward to seeing all the fans on the road!

MR UPDATE!

Hi folks,
We don't do thanksgiving here in Oz, but to all my American friends, very best wishes to you all!
There's a lot going on, so I figured I'd sum it all up here...

My office is gradually filling up with packages and I'm doing my best to get through all recent orders: MRCD13, the USB, sale clearance and MRR new releases.

I'm over half way loading the USB drives with the MRF4 content.
Unfortunately more than half the MRCDs arrived damaged, so replacements had to be ordered and are on their way now.

I'm doing my best to balance the site needs with shipping orders and hope to finish ALL orders over the weekend for shipping out Monday.

New MRR titles were pushed back to Jan/Feb so I can get caught up with everything.
Sorry for the delays, but thank you to all that have pre-ordered the various things through the course of 2015. Support via ore-orders is hugely important.

The business has changed drastically as we all know, for me it seems that most of my business is now coming from MRR and CD/merch sales, so I will be concentrating on those aspects in 2016. I'm working on some very special apparel ideas too :)

I will also wipe the slate clean and start fresh in 2016 with CD reviews - ensuring that all new and upcoming releases are reviewed and done so on time. They will be a major focus on the site.

2016 will also see MR reach a huge milestone - 20 YEARS online!

WTF, eh? Yes...hard to believe I'm still here and you folks are still reading.
I'll say more later, but thank you!

Get ready for an extended series over the months ahead:

20 from 20: all manner of things made into lists of the 20 best from the last 20 years!

Lastly - don't forget Rocknskull vs MelodicRockFest in Chicago next October and next week I will announce the lineup for the first ever MelodicRockFest Australia in May.

Cheers and thank you once again for all the fabulous support.

About Multiple Sclerosis
  • Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system.
  • MS interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body and stops people from moving.
  • Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis.  The advancement, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
  • Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with more than twice as many women as men being diagnosed with the disease.
MS affects more than 400,000 people in the U.S. and 2.1 million worldwide.
