Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the signing of ENUFF Z’NUFF to the label for the release of a brand new studio album to arrive in the fall of 2016!
Wrongly lumped in with the disposable pop-metal bands of the late '80s, Enuff Z'Nuff are instead a truly gifted power pop act. Founded in Chicago in 1984 by Chip Znuff, Enuff Z’Nuff arrived with their self-titled debut in August 1989, scoring a couple of hit singles with "New Thing" and "Fly High Michelle." The follow up was 1991's “Strength” album, where the band had noticeably toned down their image and turned up their creative ambitions to deliver a masterful '90s take on the crunchy power pop sound of Cheap Trick and Badfinger.
As of today, Enuff Z’Nuff is still going strong and continues touring the globe. Singer-songwriter Johnny Monaco now fronts the power-pop trio along with co-founder Chip Z’Nuff and drummer Erik Donner.
Chip Znuff says, “We are very excited with this new deal with Frontiers, thanks to old friend who discovered us, Derek Shulman. The new record is pure ROCK and features a couple rockstar friends, most notably James 'JY' Young (Styx), and the late great Jani Lane (WARRANT) singing on one of his last recording sessions. The band will be touring through 2016, worldwide. A few of the titles on the new Enuff Z'nuff record are: "Good Luv", "Radio", "Nothing", and "The Devil of Shakespeare". Wishing everyone a prosperous 2016 and may the BEST thing that happened to you last year be the WORST thing that happens to you this year!”

Punky Meadows is best known for being the iconic lead guitarist of the 70's band ANGEL on Casablanca records. ANGEL, like label mates KISS, were a huge theatrical band that while also being a headlining act in the US were also one of the biggest rock bands in Japan.
Punky was a huge influence to many musicians for not only his great feel, tone and unique style of guitar playing, but also his rock star image that many have tried to emulate over the years. ANGEL released 6 albums on Casablanca before disbanding in 1981 due to the demise of the label. During his career Punky had been sought after and considered to join well-known bands such as Kiss, Aerosmith, New York Dolls and Michael Bolton. Upon the disbanding of ANGEL he occupied himself with successful business ventures while continuing to play guitar and write songs.
Through social media, the fans have let him know that they want to hear from him and with his new found passion in music with close friend Danny Farrow Anniello they have written some great new songs for his solo album FALLEN ANGEL. The songs are very melodic yet diverse with catchy choruses that stick with you. Punky is playing better than ever and it really shows on this timeless collection of music. Punky wants to bring the fans the best he has and FALLEN ANGEL proves it.
Also you can hear Felix Robinson on bass guitar former member of Angel also played with 707 and White Lion...and Bobby Pantella on Drums former Raging Slab and is currently with Monster Magnet.
This solo album is a stunning recording, and it is everything that fans old and new will want to hear; we are all giving Punky a very warm welcoming return.
WHITESNAKE guitarist Joel Hoekstra is to record an album with Stryper singer Michael Sweet.
Hoekstra announced the project on the current episode of the White Line Fever podcast, explaining he had built a strong relationship with Sweet while contributing to his solo album.
“I just got done laying down some solos for Michael Sweet’s solo album and actually he and I are also going to record a project album together that I’m going to write with him,” Hoekstra said.
“I’m doing some writing for that now and also three other things in total so I’m writing for four things total right now.
“A lot of my days are that.”
Hoekstra said he was a massive admirer of Sweet, 52, who is also an accomplished guitarist and producer.
“A lot of the guys from the scene are jaded, tired,” said Hoekstra, formerly of Night Ranger and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. “Michael’s just a guy who’s got his life together and I think a lot of that is via how he goes about living his life on a daily basis.
“But yeah I think he is a really talented guy and a nice guy and him and I have always gotten on and wanted to work together.
“The timing didn’t work out for his last solo album so I ended up just kind of miming in a couple of the videos “I’m Not Your Suicide” and his duet with Electra Mustaine, the “Heart of Gold” cover.
“This time I got to play a little bit on the solo album and would have been happy to do much more but I think it would have been weird because we are going to do a whole album together.”

SUNSTRIKE are ready to take the Hard Rock world by storm again with their new album “Ready II Strike”! The record is scheduled for a release on AOR Heaven on May 20. This is the second effort from this Swedish band feat. the incredible Christian Eriksson (Twilight Force, Theander Expression) on vocals.
Product: Sunstrike - Ready II Strike
Release date: 20.05.2016
Label: AOR Heaven
Sunstrike was formed by guitarist Joachim Nordlund and drummer Johan Lindstedt together with singer Christian Eriksson (Twilight Force, The Theander Expression) in late 2012. Joachim and Johan also are members of Swedish metal act Astral Doors. Right from the start the three guys had a very clear image of how the music should sound like: pure melodic hard rock was on the agenda! Fredrik Plahn (Prey), Mats Gesar (Thalamus) and bass player Björn Lundqvist (Twilight Force) soon completed the band.
Two demo songs were posted on the band’s Facebook page in summer of 2013, and immediately the word was out about this new melodic rock outfit from Sweden. The song-writing/recording continued through 2013 in Joachim’s Big Turn Studio until they had 12 songs that were strong enough for the album ”Rock your World” which was released in 2014 on AOR Heaven.
Now, SunStrike is back! After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Johan Lindstedt and Joachim Nordlund soon started working on new songs for an upcoming album. They once again teamed up with Christian Eriksson, Fredrik Plahn and Mats Gesar and started the recordings of what was to become album no. 2, “Ready II Strike”, in Joachims Big Turn Studio in the fall of 2015. Bass player Bjorn didn't find the time to lay down his tracks for this album, so Joachim took care of the bass lines. To make the choirs as big and fat as possible two friends of the band, Danne Andersson and Annsofie Lindström, joined them in the studio for a couple of days and nailed down some cool harmonies.
Being very pleased with Erik Mårtensson’s work with the mixing/mastering of the first album, the choice was pretty easy this time around. The cover art and booklet design was done again by Carl-André Beckston (Monowasp).
SunStrike are: Christian Eriksson - Lead Vocals; Joachim Nordlund - Electric and Acoustic Guitars, bass; Lead and Background vocals, Mats Gesar - Guitars; Johan Lindstedt - Drums; Fredrik Plahn hn - Keyboards and background vocals
