Silent Rage front man Jesse Damon is set to release his brand new solo album, Southern Highway, on April 22, 2016. Released by On Fire Records, the album was produced by melodic rock legend Paul Sabu. This is Jesse's sixth solo effort and features 10 brand new studio tracks. As Jesse puts it, "Southern Highway is a melodic driven southern rockin' hell of a good time!"

Known for his infectious hooks and hard rocking melodic sensibility, Jesse has redefined his sound this time around infusing a southern blues style straight out of Nashville while still maintaining the highest caliber melodic style his fans know and love.

Jesse has built quite a resume with a career that spans over 3 decades. With Silent Rage he released 4 albums including the Simmons Records / RCA Records release Don't Touch Me There! The album spawned the MTV Headbanger's Ball favorite Rebel With a Cause. He's worked quite a bit with Gene Simmons and the KISS camp as well. He received a gold album award for co-writing Thou Shalt Not on the Revenge album. With his band Silent Rage, he performed the music for Reason For Livin' from the Gene Simmons Sex Money Kiss release. Also with Silent Rage, he plays on the demo version of Domino which was included in the 2001 KISS box set. Along with appearances on soundtracks and appearing as a guest vocalist on several other artists' releases, throw in 6 solo albums and he's built up a respectable discography.

2017 will mark the 30th anniversary of Silent Rage's debut album Shattered Hearts. There have been talks of "doing something special for the fans," and when those plans have been solidified, they'll be announced.

JOE LYNN TURNER Thanks Richie Blackmore

JOE LYNN TURNER issued this statement in reply to RICHIE BLACKMORE's recent comments on the 'Slaves And Masters' album:

“Congrats to Deep Purple for their long overdue induction...And I am proud and blessed to be a part of the DP legacy.

However...Blackmore's absence at the ceremony was truly noticed. His credo always was and is to know your own truth and walk your own path... follow no one.  A true 'outlaw' til the end.

So I am humbled and touched by the recent Blackmore post concerning my work with the band. His respectful and supportive comments of my efforts on the ‘Slaves and Masters’ album were better than any 'award' I could receive especially from an organization that has 'lost the point' many years ago.
I agree that ‘Slaves and Masters’ is a great album as our collaborations have always been a mix of magical chemistry and artful integrity that will stand the test of time.

My heartfelt thanks and sincere respect to a true original."

BLACKMORE's original comment:

"Obviously, as you know from the post here, I have my reason for not attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, although I appreciate the award- however, I do think that they should've given an award to Joe Lynn Turner for when he was in Deep Purple- for his singing and writing on Slaves and Masters-a great record, one of my favorites."

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of RAINTIMES for a multi album deal.

Raintimes is a new Melodic Rock project band featuring two young and talented Italian musicans, Pierpaolo 'Zorro' Monti (Charming Grace, Shining Line) and Davide Barbieri (Wheels of Fire, Charming Grace), together with the awesome singer Michael Shotton (Von Groove) and also featuring Sven Larsson, Andrea Gipponi and Ivan Gonzalez.

'Raintimes is an album that I really wanted to use as a tribute to show my love and admiration for The Storm,' says Pierpaolo Monti. 'I have played to death their two albums (especially 'Eye of the Storm'): their mid-tempos, steeped in pure melodic class, are the perfect crossroad between AOR and Melodic Rock. The choice of Shotton as frontman however was based not only on my admiration for his talents, but because I wanted to give a strong personality to the album and make the music more personal and original.'

A few demos were sent to the attention of Frontiers President Serafino Perugino, who was really excited with what he heard and decided to give a chance to these talented guys from Northern Italy.

"I'm absolutely thrilled about this partnership with Frontiers," says Zorro. "We are still finding it hard to believe that Raintimes will be part of its great roster, which features some of the most iconic and influential artists of the past and present international rock scene." "Frontiers represents with no doubts a big step forward in our careers," Dave adds. "We're absolutely honored to release our debut album under this renowned brand, which is well-known for offering premimum quality rock music to all the fans worldwide!"

The duo Monti & Barbieri (together with Dave Zublena) incidentally penned the awesome song 'Love Gets Through' on the upcoming FIRST SIGNAL album, 'One Step Over the Line' to be released on Frontiers Music Srl in June.

Raintimes debut album is expected to be released in early 2017.

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of BULLETBOYS to the label for a new album to be released in the last part of 2016!

BULLETBOYS formed in 1988 at the very peak of the Los Angeles hard rock movement. With record companies constantly searching for new talent, they possessed a pedigree that most bands would kill for. Unlike the other rockers of the day, the BulletBoys were more hard rock and blues fusion than pure hair metal. Using their credentials, they were able to quickly capture the attention of music fans around the world while frontman Marq Torienemerged as one of the most underrated vocalists of the era. Thanks to comparisons to the likes ofAerosmith and especially Van Halen, talent scouts came running and the band quickly received their first major label contract.

With a debut album, produced by none other than Ted Templeman (Van Halen, Montrose) which sported the the smash hit single "Smooth Up in Ya," BulletBoys officially established themselves as the leaders of the then LA rock scene. Constant tours and the support of MTV soon brought the album to platinum status. Two more albums soon followed, “Freakshow” and “Za-Za”.

The band continued to tour and release albums surviving throughout the grunge era and outlasting the nu-metal craze. With 8 more studio albums under their belt, BulletBoys are ready to start again with a new label, feeling stronger than ever!

“We could not be more ecstatic about signing with Frontiers” says Marq Torien. “Thank you to the Executives at the label and Artists Worldwide for believing in our music. We have worked diligently over the past years musically, touring, writing and performing. We are excited to embark on this new venture with Frontiers as our support and really looking forward to releasing our new music with your amazing label. Our new joint is going into a completely new direction musically that has not been heard from us ever. We promise not to disappoint!”

Bulletboys:
Marq Torien, vocals/lead guitar
Nick Rozz, rhythm & lead guitar
Chad MacDonald, Bass
Shawn Duncan, drums & percussion

JORN Launches 'Heavy Rock Radio' Covers Album June 3

Artist:
Friday, June 3, 2016

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce JORN's new album, 'Heavy Rock Radio', due for release on June 3rd!

One of the greatest rock singers of our time, Jorn Lande returns with a unique album of covers of classics from artists and bands that have meant something special to him, and helped forge this talented man's own unique style.

Through Jorn's extensive career, which includes more than 40 albums of mostly original songs, he has also recorded great versions of several rock classics such as Thin Lizzy's "Are You Ready", UFO's "On and On", Deep Purple's "Perfect Strangers", and many more. Jorn also recorded a successful Ronnie James Dio tribute album, released in 2010. Every song JORN covers is treated with the utmost respect and "Jorn-ized" accordingly. A good example is his heavy sounding version of "I Walk Alone", first released by Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish).

"Heavy Rock Radio" is not an ordinary album of cover songs, it is truly a songbook of hits. Featured ' among others - are great versions of the Eagles' "Hotel California" and Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill", which gets the Jorn style treatment to become very powerful and epic, without losing its commercial touch. More great classics included are John Farnham's "You're The Voice", Queen's "Killer Queen", and two absolute melodic rock evergreen gems in Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Foreigner's "Rev On The Red Line".

The original concept of the album was to create a sort of jukebox of radio hits, but to avoid leaning too much on the pop side of rock, JORN decided to blend the tracklisting with a few more up tempo rock tracks as well, such as "The Final Frontier" by Iron Maiden ("probably the closest you get to anything commercial with Iron Maiden," says Jorn), "Live to Win" by Paul Stanley (a song which was also featured on the popular television series South Park), and a few hard rock classics show up as well from Deep Purple ("Stormbringer"), Dio ("Rainbow In The Dark") and Black Sabbath ("Die Young") to complete the mix.

Jorn says: "The most important thing was to treat these songs with respect towards the original versions, my goal was always to think that the original artist would be honoured and find my version relevant. At the same time my intention was never to try to compete with the original song and artist, but make it a strong alternative version to enjoy. At the same time it is a well deserved homage to these artists and bands, who influenced me strongly, and I have wanted to record these songs for quite some time but was always too busy writing and recording my own songs to make it happen. Originally I had a list of 40-50 songs I wanted to do, but I had to strip it down to about 15 songs before deciding on the final tracklist. This means that there are some unfinished business musically, and I will most likely record more of these songs in the future."

Since releasing the critically acclaimed Dracula "Swing of Death" album last year, Jorn has also been working on an album of brand new songs, which will be the successor to the 2013 Jorn album "Traveller", to be released in early 2017. Jorn's catalogue is getting too long to include in brief press statements, and his innovative and creative skills have led to him selling millions of albums worldwide and being a frequent entry on sales charts around the world including Billboard. Worth a mention is his years with German based MasterPlan, whom he recorded three albums with. Claimed to be the biggest selling Norwegian musical export, since the pop band A-ha, Jorn continues his rock crusade, and there are no signs of him slowing down yet.

The title "Heavy Rock Radio" came quite naturally, as the sound of this album feels like if it's tailor made for any rock radio station, and while Jorn's voice can be enjoyed on more than 40 albums in different rock and metal styles, this record is a special treat which will tide over all the fans waiting for the new original album which is being worked on at the moment.
