[]
Rising from the Midwestern hard rock scene of the mid-‘80s, Banshee was a band that balanced traditional heavy metal with melodic hard rock with winning results. Featuring former members of such underground Kansas City groups as Granmax and Frodo, BANSHEE was fronted by Tommy Lee Flood, a vocalist that many have compared to Ronnie James Dio in his range and power. A few years after forming, BANSHEE self-released their Cry in the Night EP, selling so many copies independently that both Metal Blade and Atlantic Records courted the young act.

BANSHEE ended up signing on with A&R legend Jason Flom at Atlantic Records, but not before licensing the EP to Metal Blade, in turn bringing international attention to the group. 1989 found the quartet releasing their debut album, Race Against Time, an 11-song collection that focused on their more melodic tendencies. Despite MTV’s Headbangers Ball giving the band’s “Shoot Down The Night” video healthy airplay, behind-the-scenes drama lead to Banshee being dropped by Atlantic Records. The group would break up in 1993 after releasing their Take ‘Em By Storm that year on their own Snowblind label.

Now, over 30 years since BANSHEE formed, Divebomb Records is excited to bring you the Race Against Time + Cry In The Night 2 CD set with each release pressed on its own CD. The remastered collection will feature reversible cover art as well as archival BANSHEE photos from throughout their career. In addition, there’s a new interview with guitarist Terry Dunn done by NoEcho.net’s Carlos Ramirez especially for this reissue. With both titles long out of print, this is your chance to own two pieces of melodic hard rock gold all over again.

Danger Danger vocalist and solo artist TED POLEY as well as Frontiers Music's Mario De Riso join Mitch for episode 220 of One On One With Mitch Lafon.

In the episode's first interview Ted Poley discusses his fabulous new solo album Beyond The Fade, the ups and downs of Danger Danger, working on outside projects, the Cockroach album, touring and much more.

Quotes from the TED POLEY interview:

On the possibility of a new album from Danger Danger (time - 3.31): "Let's say two thirds of the band wants to record and one third of the decision making part of the band is on the other side of the fence. I don't want to throw anyone under the bus, but it's not Bruno and me."

The beginning of the end in the '90s and the album Screw It (time - 8.58): "It was about ten minutes to being over at that point - while we were recording Screw It. That was it. They flicked the switch and it was to the 'Off' position."

The Cockroach album (time - 12.23): "It's a great package because you can listen to my disc and use the other one as like a coaster so it doesn't leave rings on your furniture. I wish Paul all the best - he's got a new project with Bruno (The Defiants)."

EDGE OF FOREVER Sign on to Frontiers

Release Year:
2017

News Feed

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of EDGE OF FOREVER to the label for a multi-album deal!

Originally formed in 2002, Edge Of Forever released their first album, 'Feeding The Fire' in 2004 which was produced by the late Marcel Jacob (ex-Malmsteen, Talisman). Just a few months later, the band was already working on a new album with producer Bobby Barth (Axe, Blackfoot) in New Orleans. The collaboration led to 'Let The Demon Rock'n'Roll,' which came out about one year after the debut album. In 2005 the band saw a change of personnel, leaving only Alessandro Del Vecchio and Francesco Jovino from the original line-up. Alessandro then took on the lead vocal spot and guitarist Walter Caliaro and bassist Nik Mazzucconi (Ian Paice, Carmine Appice) joined the band.

In 2010, with the new lineup operating like a well oiled machine, Edge of Forever released their third record entitled 'Another Paradise'. The album was once again very well received and Alessandro Del Vecchio's reputation as producer started to grow steadily. While Francesco was stepping into the metal world with U.D.O. and a short tenure with ACCEPT (now he plays drums with Primal Fear), Alessandro Del Vecchio started to tour with artists like Ian Paice, Glenn Hughes, Bernie Marsden, and Carmine Appice and also continuing to work in the studio. In 2011, Alessandro signed on with Frontiers Music Srl to produce and be part of the come-back of the legendary hard rock act Hardline. Again with his pal Francesco Jovino on drums, Hardline released 'Danger Zone' in 2012 while the video for the single from the album, 'Fever Dreams' reached almost 1 million views on YouTube.

Alessandro's collaboration with Frontiers over the course of about 5 years has given birth to amazing records like Revolution Saints (Deen Castronovo, Jack Blades, Doug Aldrich), Sunstorm (with Joe Lynn Turner), Fergie Frederiksen's last album 'Any Given Moment', Resurrection Kings (Craig Goldy, Vinny Appice, Sean McNabb, Chas West) and many more, plus writing and playing for artists like Place Vendome, Find Me (featuring Robbie Lablanc of Blanc Faces), First Signal (featuring Harry Hess of Harem Scarem), Level 10 (featuring Russell Allen and Mat Sinner), and Toby Hitchcock among others.

Now it's time for Alessandro and his guys to step out on their own and show the world what they're capable of! 'I'm very honored to have my own band Edge Of Forever signed to the big Frontiers family,' says Alessandro Del Vecchio. 'It's been a few years now that I've worked with Serafino and for some time we have been talking about a record with me on vocals, which couldn't be with anyone but with my guys. Francesco, Nik and Walter have been with me already on a few albums I released through Frontiers, but this time is gonna be different. It's our baby and our primal need of creation. We are entering the studio this summer and I promise we will deliver our best songs and I will top my productions with a bombastic and epic sound. In addition to the new album, we decided to allow Frontiers to re-release our previous albums - which I'm gonna remaster with bonus tracks - for all digital platforms. I guess it's time for people to listen to the out-takes of our previous albums with our friends Jeff Scott Soto Official and Bobby Barth. This made the deal even more attractive for us. Now it's our turn to say something and give Frontiers our best album so far! I feel and we feel more confident than ever in what we can do. Years of working in the Champions League of Rock'n'Roll forged us as better musicians. I honestly can't wait. After 5 years of amazing music with Frontiers, I'm excited to do something again with the band that started it all for me. Who's Luckier Than Me?''

Frontiers plans to release EDGE OF FOREVER new album in early 2017.

EDGE OF FOREVER:

Alessandro Del Vecchio: vocals, keyboards
Walter Caliaro: guitars
Nik Mazzucconi: bass
Francesco Jovino: drums

The Cars Share Best In Show Honors Ric Ocasek, Greg Hawkes Guest On InTheStudio

Dallas, TX - MAY 17, 2016.  North American syndicated Rock radio show and website InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History’s Greatest Rock Bands puts out the checkered flag for some of the best of The Cars with singer/songwriter/guitarist Ric Ocasek behind the wheel and keyboardist Greg Hawkes riding shotgun.

The Cars’ zero-to-platinum popularity came amidst the final fizzle of the mid-Seventies Punk Rock sparkler, and the sound and attitude that survived was labeled by at least one rock writer as the nebulous one-size-fits-none term New Wave.

The drivetrain of the five man Boston band was always powered by the songs of Ric Ocasek. Growing up in the Otcasek household (Ric(k) later would also drop the “t” from his surname), early 1960s Sputnik paranoia and Telstar technology mixed with Cold War James Bond spy intrigue for Ric, courtesy of his father. “He was a systems analyst for NASA”, remarks Ocasek to InTheStudio host Redbeard. “There were ‘black boxes’ around our house that were locked. People from the government used to come and interview my Mom and ask her if he talked in his sleep!”

The Cars test track where they tuned up their sound was the mid-Seventies Boston club scene. With the follow up to their surprise hit debut (#16 on Rolling Stone magazine's Top 100 Debut Albums of All Time), the torque of The Cars' "Let's Go", "Touch and Go", "Shake It Up", "You Might Think" and monster ballad "Drive" all propelled the cross-legged Woodstock generation off of their butts and back onto the dance floor. The sleek polished chrome and glass production combined distinctive instrumental touches from rock and roll's past in a way that, paradoxically, sounded cutting edge modern, with ten Top 30 hits and twenty-five million albums sold just in the US.

Ted Poley has a lengthy and impressive resume, boasting a few all-time classics as well as some revered collaborations.
From Prophet to Danger Danger and through to Poley/Rivera and in recent years a couple of solo albums thrown in there for good measure.
Now Ted is teaming with Mr. Reliable; Alessandro Del Vecchio for a new solo album in a time where it’s more important than ever to stand out from the pack to get any traction.

Boy, does he do it in fine style here! Take a bow Ted and Alessandro – you have both done yourselves proud with this record – easily the best Ted Poley album outside of Danger Danger and now one of my favourite records of the year.
This is no project album with Ted delivering some vocals. No way. Ted flew to Europe to work with Alessandro and in his own words, there isn’t a note on this record he didn’t approve of or help engineer. With songs from the incomparable Martin Brothers and Ale himself, Ted has the backing of a powerhouse production, which at times some of his other projects have lacked.

And Ted delivers one of the best vocal performances I’ve heard from the evergreen frontman.
There’s a couple of songs on here I’d rate amongst Ted’s best songs ever – and that includes Danger Danger. But do I feel the urge to jump ahead to get to them? No, because the material here is so consistently enjoyable, I can’t possibly skip forward.

There’s almost two parts to this record. The opening sequence of the high octane fist pumping trilogy of D2 friendly anthems Let's Start Something, Everything We Are and Hands Of Love get things off to a flying start.
Then there’s the very fine, tempo slowing ballad The Perfect Crime, a duet with Issa (who seems to be the girl to call when a duet is required).
From there things turn a little more serious – but no less melodic or powerful. The tone just shifts slightly.

Stars is one of the best Poley tracks ever. Absolute perfection. The high impact chorus is just brilliant.
Higher is less intense, but equally as catchy with another great layered chorus.
The mellower, darker and sentimental Where I Lost You is another slice of melodic rock perfection. Once again, great listening and stands up as another legacy Ted Poley track.
You Won't See Me Cryin' is another winner, it moves a little quicker, maintaining the melodies but adding a touch of grit and a fine quite solo.
We Are Young lends itself to a darker tone while Sirens is just pure joy.
Beneath The Stars closes the album by delivering a 6 minute rock ballad.

No fillers, all killers and a couple of mind blowingly good classics. All class from start to finish.
Wonderful! No further comments needed. Just get it!

It’s funny how these things line up. Two Alessandro Del Vecchio helmed albums released the same day. This time Ale teams with fellow Italian – guitarist Simone Mularoni, guitar player of Italian prog-metallers DGM to write and produce the new Sunstorm album for Joe Lynn Turner, who requested a harder edge to the fourth album in this project’s lifespan.
I don’t have by track writing credits, but Soren Kronqvist and Daniel Palmqvist also contribute songs.

Joe Lynn Turner never sounds less than on-form when delivering his vocals, as he is again right here. He sounds as good as ever, so it’s all down to the songs and the sound employed to do so.
Edge Of Tomorrow is a heavier, more guitar dominated record, with keyboards way back in the mix this time around. And without Dennis Ward, as well as the style shift, it’s a pretty different record than the trilogy of albums before it.

The first two Sunstorm albums are brilliant. The third was good, but to be perfectly honest, this is going to rank last compared to those. I think the Sunstorm brand has lost some of its personality here. There are some fine songs that kick things along, but several others that I’m struggling to appreciate and despite all albums featuring songs gathered entirely from outside writers, the ones here don’t have the hook impact expected.

Don't Walk Away From A Goodbye is a powerful opener with a decent uptempo pace which leads well into the pick of the album - Edge Of Tomorrow. This is one of the best songs of the year if I’m honest. I just wish there was more like it.
Nothing Left To Say doesn’t really go anywhere and fails to deliver a memorable chorus.
Heart Of The Storm is a feisty rocker that I do like, but the chorus and lack of harmony vocals where there should be some leaves it a little flat.
The Sound Of Goodbye is very much the same. The slower ballad shows promise but ultimately sounds really raw as if something is missing.

The Darkness Of This Dawn is a slower and more soulful tune with some classy Neal Schon inspired guitar riffs and brings back the harmony vocals which do make a difference.
You Hold Me Down has a decent chorus and a good pace which is followed by the piano ballad Angel Eyes, which I think most will enjoy.
Everything You’ve Got and Tangled In Blue roll along nicely, the chorus’ could have been bigger, but it’s just not the style of this album.
I find the closing track Burning Fire is another that just doesn’t go anywhere sadly.

In a word – disappointing. But that’s comparing this to what has come before and what we expect from a JLT project. It’s a little heavier, rawer and without much padding as far as harmonies and keyboards. So it is what it is. Some might even prefer it this way.
But for me – regardless of style direction, I think the album is missing additional knockout tunes such as the title track.

An unusual album this, but that’s typical of Escape Music. They have a long history of uncovering albums that fit the genre, but operate outside expectations….and deliver quality melodic rock.

It’s always good to hear new twists on an old format.

Epic are a mix of Canadian, American and Lebanese musicians. Quite something that! The 4 piece is fronted by the powerhouse vocalist Tanya Rizkala, whose deep raspy voice has quite a range and should impress fans of female fronted outfits like Dante Fox, Saraya, Witness and Heart.

Musically you can take those acts and add some swagger that isn’t a world away from Mr. Big and Winger, but with a lighter AOR touch.

This is a hard rock album in part (All I Need and Nah Nah Nah which book end the album) and melodic rock in others (the anthemic brilliant Love Will Find A Way and Like A Phoenix) and then there’s the pure AOR of the lovely ballad I Can Take You which leads into several slow-to-mid tempo ballady tracks through the middle, including the acoustic Sleepless and the dreamy My Everything.

What starts out as a pretty rocking album heads quickly into mid-tempo AOR, which isn’t a bad thing as the songs and the vocals in particular are quality – it just isn’t what I expected based on the artwork and the opening couple of tracks.
Epic do however, deliver something different for fans of female fronted melodic rock and the strength of the production and songwriting is worthy of investigation.

Zingo is a new release from Renegade Sounds that might slide under the radar of many visiting these pages. This is an outfit from the 70s and the 12 tracks within are sourced from the only remaining original sources – that is some from multi-track, others from quarter inch tape, some from cassette and even original vinyl. But it’s been nicely worked out to maintain a pretty consistent sound quality.

What’s remarkable about Zingo is that it’s the first recording band for legendary Bryan Adams guitarist Keith Scott.
Anyone that knows me knows that I’m an absolute sucker for Keith’s tone and his essential role in making Adams the icon he is.
So my interest in hearing this was immediate. It’s not all to my personal taste – I’m not an overly 70s kinda guy, but the songs here are well worth the effort to upgrade and compile.
These are rock/pop and pomp friendly radio tunes with typically 70s groove. Think Early Journey, Boston, ELO.

This is a must have for fans of Scott. There are some tunes here that showcase the origins of his sound perfectly and give a taste of where he came from as a guitarist and there are some moments where you can hear early Bryan Adams in the delivery.
And there’s even two tracks produced by Jim Valance for that extra Adams tie-in factor. Keith left Zingo to join Adams for his Cuts Like A Knife album and has remained with him ever since.

Packaging is a little minimal – it’s housed in a slimline jewelcase with no tray card, but the disc is a proper manufactured silver CD and there is a booklet.
The label apparently wanted to keep their overseas customers' shipping costs down, and this reduced the weight in half. They are however offering a free tray card if buyers want to put it in a standard jewel case.

There are a couple of songs where Keith really goes to town and that makes it all the more worth it as far as I’m concerned. An interesting archival record that’s up to its neck in the 70s.
Sadly vocalist Vince Nardulli passed away in 1989.

This is an impressive follow-up to what was an already impressive debut album. The second Rage Of Angels sees a more focused lineup run through 10 quality AOR/melodic rock songs that feature the talents of Neil Fraser (guitars, ex-Ten); Chris Green (guitars, Rubicon Cross, Tyketto), plus the rhythm section of ColdSpell - Perra Johannsen and Chris Goldsmith; along with Martin Kronlund (guitars).

But the brains behind Rage Of Angels is Ged Rylands, former Ten keyboardist who adds guitar to his role in his own band. And for the new album he has enlisted the great Rob Moratti to front the band; giving the album just one singer compared to five on the debut.
Having one singer gives the album a far more cohesive feel and it’s just a bonus that Rob delivers one of the best performances of his career here. His voice dominates and it’s so more satisfying to hear him belt out original material rather than Journey covers.

Making Rob sound so good are 10 very catchy, high energy, keyboard drenched rockers. Equally paired in the mix is some blazing guitar work, solos in every song and a brilliant mix from Kronlund has the rhythm section pumping underneath these waves of keys and guitars.

Musical highlights are many. The opening epic Rage Of Angels is fast, fabulous and heavy for an album of this genre. But still the keys dominate in a way Royal Hunt fans would be impressed with. All Your Own Way is a more typically AOR style with an anthemic chorus that’s perfect for Rob.

On Step Closer is British AOR at its best; while Strangers In The Night is filled with 80s keys, but at the same time ear crunching riffs. In And Out Of Love flows nicely into Stop Changing The TV which weaves a more melodic chorus than the title might suggest!
Long Days With You is the moodiest track and closest thing to a ballad on the album and is a fine closer.

A really enjoyable album and a step up from the debut as far as I’m concerned. Rob’s high register vocals are perfect for the material before him and keyboard lovers will love the layers of ivory that prove to be the foundation of this record.
One point I would like to make – 70 minutes for 10 songs is pretty ambitious and there are several tracks here that would have benefitted from tighter control in the editing phase. There are a few killer 4 minute songs wrapped up in 6 minute bodies.
Other than that small point – definitely recommended for classic 80s/AOR fans and fans of Rob Moratti/Final Frontier and Ten.

Today we mourn the passing of yet another member of the melodic rock community.
Singer, producer and songwriter JEFF KENT sadly passed away over the weekend. There are no details of his death, but what matters is that we have lost another very talented and well liked friend of MelodicRock.

Jeff began his career writing in the 70s, continued on in the 80s writing with Desmond Child for Kiss; Cyndi Lauper, Ellie Greenwich, Ellen Foley before moving on to writing with Robin Beck, Company Of Wolves, and finally for House Of Lords and James Christian/Robin Beck, for which he is best known in this part of the business.

His writing formed the basis for the two major House Of Lords albums ‘Come To My Kingdom’ and ‘World Upside Down’.

So 2016 claims another life. JEFF KENT, we thank you for your immense talents and great songs. May you rest in peace.

Q5 Declare a 'New World Order' July 8

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of the anticipated third album from Q5, entitled 'New World Order' on July 8th.

You can pre-order the album now on both Amazon.com: http://radi.al/NewWorldOrderAmazon  and iTunes: http://radi.al/NewWorldOrderiTunes

Q5 was formed in 1983, comprised of members of two popular Seattle bands: vocalist Jonathan K and guitarist (plus famous guitar tremolo inventor) Floyd Rose from The C.O.R.E. and Rick Pierce (guitar), Evan Sheeley (bass) and Gary Thompson (drums) from TKO. The band released its first album, "Steel The Light" (on Music for Nations) in 1984, receiving immediate worldwide critical acclaim, and landing them touring spots with Twisted Sister, Y&T and Lita Ford. The success of "Steel The Light" led them to eventually sign with Polygram/Squawk for their 1985 sophomore release, "When the Mirror Cracks". Due to personal differences, the original lineup dissolved shortly after this release.

In 2014, Q5 was asked to perform at Sweden Rock Festival, a performance that the band had agreed would be a "one off" show, but at the completion of the performance, it was obvious that this was not an ending, but merely a beginning. Upon returning to Seattle, The band secured drummer Jeffrey McCormack (former Heir Apparent, Fifth Angel) and guitarist Kendall Bechtel (former Fifth Angel) and began rehearsing formally as "Q5". The band's relaunch debuted at the ROCK You To HELL Festival in Athens, Greece followed by a headlining performance in Cyprus. The band then returned to Seattle to begin work on music for a new album. Kendall Bechtel, however, was unable to stay with the band due to personal reasons, so the band secured guitar virtuoso Dennis Turner to complete the lineup.

So, while the band's debut album, "Steel The Light " continues to grow in popularity all over the world, the fans are writing from all corners of the globe, eagerly inquiring about the next chapter in the Q5 story. That chapter begins NOW. With their new lineup solidified, and a new album slated for release, Q5 is poised to take its rightful place again in the hard rock/heavy metal hierarchy!

'New World Order' tracklisting:
1. We Came Here To Rock
2. One Night In Hellas
3. The Right Way
4. New World Order
5. Tear Up The Night
6. Halfway To Hell

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of Crazy Lixx's first live album, 'Sound Of The LIVE Minority' on July 8th!

It is possible pre-order the album from Amazon.com here: http://radi.al/CrazyLixxAmazon

Coming out of the Swedish Hard Rock Scene - with influences from bands like Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, KISS, Whitesnake/David Coverdale, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard and Motley Crue - Crazy Lixx newest offering 'Sound Of The LIVE Minority' is the band's first live album, coming after four increasingly successful studio albums.

'It's a milestone for every rock band,' that's what lead singer Danny Rexon says. And a milestone it is, in more than one way. On the one hand, it is the perfect record to sum up four studio albums and more than a decade as a touring band in an hour plus documentation of energetic, live rock n' roll with the very best songs from their catalogue and most requested fan favorites. On the other hand, it also marks the end of the band's most successful line-up, with guitarist Andreas Z Eriksson (now with british Hard Rockers Inglorious) as the lead guitar slinger. This live performance was his last show with the band.

'We wanted to release this live album both to mark an end to the old Crazy Lixx, as well as a statement of a new beginning for the current line-up. On this show, Jens Lundgren had already taken over the guitar duties from our former guitarist Edd Liam so in a sense this gig represents both the old and the new,' says Danny.

The album was recorded at Bang Your Head Festival in Balingen, Germany in July 2015 and has been mixed by Chris Laney who has previously been entrusted to mix live albums for Europe, Talisman and CRASHDIET, among others.

Tracklisting:
1. Intro
2. Rock and a Hard Place
3. Lock up your Daughter
4. Blame it on Love
5. Sound of the Loud Minority
6. Riot Avenue
7. Call to Action
8. Road to Babylon
9. My Medicine (R.O.C.K)
10. Hell Raising Women
11. Girls of the 80's (+ intro for Heroes are Forever)
12. Heroes are Forever
13. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot
14. 21' Til I Die

Line-up:
Danny Rexon (vocals)
Andreas Z Eriksson (guitar)
Jens Lundgren (guitar)

AOR Heaven June Releases Announced: WICKMAN ROAD & FEATHERSTONE

AOR HEAVEN will release the debut albums by Melodic Rock acts FEATHERSTONE, “Northern Rumble”, and WICKMAN ROAD, “After The Rain”, on June 24. Both bands are from Sweden.

Swedish melodic rock act FEATHERSTONE was founded by songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer Rikard Quist in 2012. After writing for and playing with bands including Gypsy Rose, Don Patrol, Last Autumn´s Dream, White Wolf and Bangalore Choir for several years, he decided to focus his efforts on creating a masterpiece he could call his own.
Collaborating with friend and talented singer Lars Boden (Appearance), and with the addition of heavy drummer Niklas Osterlund (Headplate), Rikard found the melody and power needed and FEATHERSTONE quickly found its feet. More importantly it found its sound and, with the addition of British lyricist Jon Wilde (who Rikard had written with previously), the songs found their words.

The FEATHERSTONE album was written, recorded and produced by Rikard Quist in his own studio ”Eastern Palette Studio” in Gothenburg. Niklas and his thunderous drums were added thanks to the recording talents of Daniel Granstedt at Don Graniolo Sound Studio. The final mix and incredible mastering work was made by renowned and skilled engineer Martin Kronlund at JM Recording Studio.
The debut album ”Northern Rumble” from FEATHERSTONE contains 10 strong and timeless melodic rock songs filled with epic choruses, soaring melodies and ample overdriven power to keep you coming back again and again. It’s a musical journey from the 1970´s, the 1980´s, through the 1990´s right up until today.

Wickman Road is a young Swedish Melodic Rock Band with origins from the small town Rydaholm.

Henrik, Carl and Robert had been playing music together for years, but it was not until Eric joined up as a singer in 2011 that they grew an ambition to start a band for real. The two pair of brothers wrote several songs during the early stage and struggled to realize their ambition. The missing piece was added when Simon joined the band in 2014 and Wickman Road was officially born.

With Simon as the drummer, the band was provided with the spark needed to start their journey towards the debut album. Inspired by the AOR genre they started to write music in the true spirit of Melodic Rock, with their own touch of modern sound.
In the fall of 2015, eleven songs were recorded with the helpful hand of Producer Ola af Trampe at Studio 165. The recordings were done with great enthusiasm and resulted in Wickman Road’s first album “After the Rain”.

For Wickman Road this album really is about getting past the struggles of doubt and finding your own way. With lyrics inspired by the band members’ own journey, Wickman Road is here to make their mark in the world of music.
The album was mixed and mastered by Ola af Trampe at Studio 165, Växjö, Sweden.

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the signing of Swedish progressive metal masters SEVENTH WONDER for a multi album deal!

Originally formed in Stockholm in 2000, the band debuted in 2005 with “Become”. The second album, “Waiting in the Wings” - and first to feature Tommy Karevik on vocals - followed in 2006. Two more successful records, the concept album “Mercy Falls”, and “The Great Escape”, followed before the band went on hiatus following singer Tommy Karevik being chosen to take Roy Kahn’s place in Kamelot

Seventh Wonder is now ready to start again and has plans to return with a live recording and a brand new album to kick things off.

Bass player Andreas Blomqvist states: “It has been too quiet in the Seventh Wonder camp for far too long – and FINALLY that is about to change! Many years have passed since we last put out a record but, finally the band is a fully functioning unit again, ready to create some great new music. As we were getting ready to get back on track we also needed somebody to partner with. Somebody who shared our vision for the band and saw our potential and was willing to commit to the band. We have found that somebody in Frontiers! We are thrilled to be on board with such a famous label with many of our favourite bands on their roster. You, the fans, have been more patient than anyone could ever deserve. We are equally proud and humbled by that and we promise to do our best, together with our new friends at Frontiers, to make up for the years of silence by going full speed ahead. And you know what? The new album is sounding great!”

Fans first taste of new music will see the light of day in the fall, with the new album expected to be released in the first half of 2017.

Seventh Wonder are:
Bass: Andreas Blomqvist
Guitar: Johan Liefvendahl
Vocals: Tommy Karevik
Keys: Andreas Söderin

Frontiers Music Srl is is pleased to announce the release of TRICK OR TREAT's new album 'Rabbit's Hill Pt. 2' on July 8th!

Originally formed in 2002 as a Helloween tribute band, TRICK OR TREAT soon became a popular live attraction in their home country of Italy. After recording their first demo of original material, they were signed by an independent Italian label, Valery Records. In 2006 they released their first full-length album, entitled 'Evil Needs Candy Too', to critical acclaim. The band then spent the following two years on the road playing over 100 gigs in Europe and the USA. The band released their second album, 'Tin Soldiers' in 2009.

Three years later, 2012 proved to be an important year for TRICK OR TREAT, firstly because singer Alessandro Conti was chosen by Luca Turilli's Rhapsody to be the lead singer on the album 'Ascending to Infinity' and secondly, the band released their concept album 'Rabbits' Hill Pt.1,' based on Richard Adams' novel 'Watership Down'.

Four years on, the second chapter, 'Rabbit's Hill Pt. 2' is now finally finished and comes with the news of the band signing a worldwide, multi-album deal with Frontiers Music Srl. The recording sessions for the new album have been the longest the band has ever taken part in and the work with producer Simone Mularoni (DGM) captured all the intricate details of their take on power metal. For this album, the band added huge orchestrations and epic choirs mixed to their usual signature power metal sound, in order to sonically reflect all the epic adventures told through the lyrics. The musical vibes range from acoustic and melodic parts to darker, heavy metal anthems.

Once again on this new album, TRICK OR TREAT had the honor to work with great international guest musicians and friends like Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica, Sara Squadrani from Ancient Bards and, in the role of the evil general Woundwort, Tim Ripper Owens (ex-Judas Priest, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen).

Frontman Alessandro Conti on the new album and working with Frontiers Music SRL: 'After a long time spent on the production of the new album, we can finally confirm the official release date and the last guest singer. In addition to our friends Sara Squadrani and Tim Ripper Owens, we're so happy and proud to have our friend Tony Kakko on 'Rabbit's Hill Pt. 2' is an incredible honor for us! These guests did an amazing job, helping us to capture the perfect atmosphere of the concept taken from Richard Adam's novel "Watership Down.'

We are so happy about the final result of our new album and we are excited about the new partnership with Frontiers, one of the most important rock labels in the world! This is really a great moment for TRICK OR TREAT! So don't miss the new album!!'

TRICK OR TREAT are now finally ready to unleash their sonic attack on metal maniacs around the globe!
