Debut album Mama Said Rock Is Deadscheduledfor 8 February 2019
Lead single 'Lolita' out on 23 November 2018
What started some six years ago as an 80s rock show paying tribute to icons such as Van Halen, Motley Crue, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi has long developed into a hot, autonomous act with fantastic songs and an impressive stage show: John Diva & The Rockets Of Love, a flamboyant rock band in true 80s style, graced with a talent for breathing fresh air into the classic rock music genre, are scheduled to release their debut album Mama Said Rock Is Dead on Steamhammer/SPV on 8 February 2019. 23 November 2018 will see the arrival of their lead single 'Lolita', supported by a congenial video clip featuring scantily clad girls and sunny beach scenes. The second single 'Rock´n`Roll Heaven' will be out on 18 January 2019, masterly presented Tarantino-style in a dusty Western-type desert landscape. The twelve songs were produced by Michael Voss (Mad Max, Michael Schenker, among others), with Chris von Rohr (Krokus, Gotthard) involved as creative supervisor.
Alongside frontman/womanizer John Diva as the musical and visual focus, the band includes guitarists Snake Rocket and J.J. Love, bassist Remmie Martin and drummer Lee Stingray Jr.John Diva & The Rockets Of Love have performed their spectacular shows in recent years in front of thousands of fans, three times at the Wacken Open Air (2014, 2015 and 2018), at the 2016 Turock Festival in Essen and at the Hamburg Harley Days in summer 2018, among others.
In view of the upcoming releases, John Diva & The Rockets Of Love look forward to a fruitful collaboration with SPV: 'Our shelves are chock-a-block with countless important albums that came out on Steamhammer in recent years. So in a way we've arrived exactly where we belong!'
SPV/Steamhammer A&R Olly Hahn is unmistakably proud of his latest signing: 'In John Diva & The Rockets Of Love we've without a doubt enlisted one of the best live acts on the current scene. Now they're set to prove their brilliant compositional skills, too.'

Radiation Romeos is the Michael Voss produced comeback vehicle for former Atomic Playboys vocalist Parramore McCarty. Thing is, I always considered the weak spot of the one-off Atomic Playboys album was the vocals. If not for the glorious riffing of Steve Stevens, that album would have struggled.
And so it is that this album, with McCarty’s vocals being the featured aspect, is something of a struggle to get through. The opening track which pays tribute to the Playboys album is the best rocker here.
I’ve no credits, so I have no idea who’s responsible for the songwriting, but there’s not much here worthy of the deafening scream that is McCarty’s vocals. Largely set in that dreaded plodding mid-tempo pace, the album meanders along from one song to another with few highlights.
Strangely, the better songs here are the few slower, more melodic numbers. The anthemic 80s melodic rocker Ocean Drive is quite superb, but also quite out of character for the rest of the record.
The ballad Like An Arrow and the melodic rock of Til The End Of Time stand out as better songs and better, more melodic vocals that reminds me of the Scorpions.
With so much to choose from, I reckon this album is probably already out of people’s minds by now (it was released in June).
Worthy of a few iTunes single purchases, but as an album it’s not strong enough to make an impression. Production wise there’s no complaints as you’ll never go wrong with Voss in charge. The artwork is probably the best thing about the whole package.
Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the second studio release by Phantom 5, PLAY TO WIN! The album will be out on October 13.
Checkout the first song and video, “The Change In You”, to be released from the album here:
After the success of their self-titled debut album, the brainchild of producer/guitarist (and for this record, bassist) Michael Voss and vocalist Claus Lessmann have returned with yet another incredible outing of impeccable German melodic hard rock! Once again joined by Robert Boebel on guitars and keyboards and Axel Kruse on drums, these fist pumping anthems will tickle the eardrums of any connoisseur of melodic hard rock.
Michael Voss says, "[t]o all the rockers out there, we are more than happy to continue this labour of love and come back with a bang! Again, guitar wizard Robby Boebel delivered powerful riffs and Claus wrote some magic melodies. The drums were delivered by heart-pounding visual timekeeper Axel Kruse and taped by the famous Rolf Munkes at Empire Studios. 11 well balanced songs, full of emotion and power, right in the vein of our first album. If you like the first one, you will love the new one! Come and get it... and play it loud...we play 2 win!!!"
Originally born as “Supremacy”, the band decided to change their name to Phantom 5 before recording their debut album for release last year. It had been a long time since the public had heard a melodic hard rock record THIS GOOD coming from Germany! Mixing influences from the cream of the crop of German melodic hard rock bands, but with Michael and Claus’ unique stamp on it, the debut was met with rave reviews across the board.
After the success of that album, Michael and Claus knew it was a no-brainer to follow it up with an even more inspired outing and that is exactly what they’ve done here. “Play To Win” does exactly what the title says!
Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of RADIATION ROMEOS self-titled debut album on June 2.
Radiation Romeos is a new band formed by the amazing singer Parramore “Perry” McCarty, best known for being the frontman of legendary US metal act Warrior and famed Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens' solo project, Atomic Playboys (in fact, the inspiration for the name Radiation Romeos came from a line in the song “Atomic Playboys").
Musically, the band moves in a melodic hard rock direction with solid, metallic edges thanks to the production of Michael Voss (Phantom 5, Casanova, Michael Schenker), who also contributed to the songwriting. In the studio, Parramore sang all vocals with Dag Heyne handling guitars, Jogi Spittka on bass, and Gereon Homann laying down the drum work with gusto!
Perry says: “Radiation Romeos started when producer Michael Voss contacted me in San Diego through Facebook. A few days later we had the record agreement with Frontiers, so the RADIATION ROMEOS album was soon under way. Our goal was to write great melodic rock songs. The album “spans the globe” from the title track, power rockin’ RADIATION ROMEOS to some songs with a bit more grit like CASTAWAYS. All the way to a beautiful ballad, LIKE AN ARROW. Something for everyone, if you will… The recording was so much fun and exciting for me. I couldn’t wait to get up the following day to work on the next song! Michael is a wonderfully professional person with endless talent and the musicians super cool guys and top players!”
Parramore McCarty's career in music started when Robbin Crosby of RATT gave him his start singing in cover bands. His first major label album was “Fighting For the Earth” on Virgin Records in 1985 for the legendary heavy metal band Warrior. Steve Stevens' Atomic Playboys followed in 1989 on Warner Bros. Records. Then hereturned to Warrior and also started gigging in the LA area with Metal Freqs and Monster Traxx.
Radiation Romeos will take no prisoners with their exciting mixture of muscular rock anthems and killer melodic songs!

- Debut album scheduled for release October 28th, 2016 -
No doubt about it, Rock Wolves leave no questions unanswered and certainly nothing to be desired. The band name alone is an unmistakable indication of the journey that this new all-star trio has embarked on: classic rock music, melodic, powerful, contemporary, diverse, with just the right degree of toughness and a sure feel for gritty hooks. This band knows how these things are done, because thanks to Herman Rarebell, Michael Voss and Stephan Gudze Hinz, Rock Wolves consists of three of the most renowned rock musicians of the past forty years. Musically as well as lyrically, their mission is straightforward, featuring great emotions but also clear words on current events. Their debut album will be available on Steamhammer/SPV as digi, LP and for download from 28 October 2016, the first single is scheduled for release on 9 September: ´Rock For The Nations` will mark the launch of an outstanding recording which aims at putting the focus back on timeless rock music. You don't have to be a clairvoyant to predict that this concept is more than likely to work!
This diversity of ideas and the band's almost boundless musical enthusiasm is reflected in every one of the eleven songs on their debut release. Straight rock numbers like the first single ´Rock For The Nations`, the shuffle groove-driven ´Surrounded By Fools`, the fast-paced ´Out Of Time`, and ´The Lion Is Loose` with its haunting live qualities, but also ´I Need Your Love`, which brings to mind the likes of AC/DC and Bad Company, are thoroughbred rock tracks that go directly to the listener's gut and legs, as well as – like all ambitioned rock music should – touching on painful subjects. Instead off delivering tanks and arms all over the world, Germany should concentrate on exporting good rock music,"Rarebell explains the message of ´Rock For The Nations`. The lyrics on ´Surrounded By Fools` with their warning of unscrupulous politicians are no less critical. Rarebell: "Let's not be dazzled by their colourful election campaigns. Those politicians can easily end up bringing war to their countries."
Naturally, no diverse rock album would be complete without two or three more quiet numbers with less controversial subjects. In ´Nothing´s Gonna Bring Me Down`, Rock Wolves have succeeded in recording a strikingly contemporary ballad which could have been penned in the same or a similar manner by Lenny Kravitz. Talking of which: the original version of the deeply melodic ´What About Love` was written by Jim Vallance, but celebrated its greatest success in 1985 with Heart, who topped the Billboard charts for an impressive 18 weeks with the song. Our new version has been given the blessing by Jim Vallance himself. His only comment was: ´Your version is even better than my original, so go for it`,€ remembers Rarebell.
"Rock Wolves" will be released worldwide (ex Japan) as digi, LP and download on October 28th,2016 through Steamhammer/SPV.

Phantom 5 isn’t the best or most descriptive band name I’ve heard, but it’s far from the worst. Featuring a powerful lineup of Michael Voss (guitars; Casanova, Bonfire, Mad Max) and Claus Lessmann (vocals, ex-Bonfire) along with popular German compadres Robby Boebel (guitars from Frontline) and Axel Kruse (drums from everyone) as well as Francis Buchholz on bass.
Touted as a natural follow up to the classic BonfireFireworks album, with a touch of Frontline and Jaded Heart, the expectations were therefore set to maximum from the outset.
Sorry guys, but while the potential is there, the songs don’t carry the legacy any further than that.
There’s too much one-tempo familiarity amongst the songs, not enough variety in style and frankly, not enough power in the choruses to knock anyone over.
The album does start strongly though. All The Way certainly has the classic feel of an album opener – a nice fast melodic hard rocker with a typically anthemic chorus.
A nice dose of keyboards and a choppy guitar riff drive the pacey Blue Dog while it gets moodier on Someday.
Don’t Touch The Night harks back to classic 80s Bonfire, even if it lacks a little of the dynamics of the original band.
Unfortunately that’s probably the best part of the album over with. The rest settles into a very safe, mid-tempo routine of riffs and raspy vocals, but nothing really stands out.
Renegade, Flying High, Frontline and We Both Had Our Time all have a good sound but fail to ignite when time for the chorus.
Since You’re Gone is a pretty decent rock ballad, but then it’s straight back into the unremarkable second half of this album.
They Won't Come Back is probably the pick of the second half – a better chorus and a nice sentiment on this track.
A solid effort, with expected good production from the always reliable Michael Voss, but the songs and urgency required to make an impact worthy of the personnel involved aren’t there.
A good start, but a fairly routine and safe second half strips back some of the appeal of this album.
Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of PHANTOM 5's self-titled debut album on May 13th, 2016.
PHANTOM 5 is the new band put together by former BONFIRE singer Claus Lessmann, together with producer and guitar player Michael Voss (CASANOVA, BONFIRE, MAD MAX, MICHAEL SCHENKER). They have enlisted a sort of who's who of German classic and melodic hard rock with a lineup completed by Robby Boebel (from Frontline), Axel Kruse (from Jaded Heart) and Francis Buchholz (from Scorpions).
Born as 'Supremacy', this new German melodic rock alliance, with five real aces on the pitch, could not disappoint. So, after the name change to Phantom 5, the new album started to take shape. According to Michael Voss: 'For me it sounds like we did a follow up to the famous Bonfire 'Fireworks' album with a touch of Frontline meets JADED HEART groove' it is a driving monster with huge walls of guitars, powerful soaking drums and fine catchy melodies'we took a trip back into the world of the eighties!!!'
Claus Lessmann adds 'I am very proud of being part of a very fine piece of melodic rock and I hope that many people will like and love it the same way we do. Everything came together very naturally and I had the feeling, that our flow of creativity never seemed to run dry, just like it should be. After the more than painful situation with Bonfire, it was exactly the right thing, at the right time to do for me and it just felt and feels so damn right!'
And indeed it's been a long time since we've heard a Melodic Hard Rock record THIS GOOD coming from Germany! Think Bonfire's 'Point Blank', Casanova's debut album, Frontline's Heroes, or Fair Warning's debut record and you get an idea of how this is going to hit you. Get ready to push the play button very often. This record has everything you'd expect and more - enjoy!
Claus Lessmann and Michael Voss will exclusively appear at the Frontiers Rock Festival in the Acoustic Night reserved for VIP tickets purchasers on April 22nd. All info are available here: www.frontiersrockfestival.com
PHANTOM 5 tracklisting includes: All The Way; Blue Dog; Someday; Don't Touch The Night; Renegade; Flying High; Since You'Re Gone; They Won'T Come Back; Frontline; We Both Had Our Time; Why. Sing Along (Bonus Track Digital Version)

MELODIC HARD ROCK IS BACK TO GERMANY - WELCOME SUPREMACY!
Do you remember when German bands cranked out true, classic Melodic Rock / Hard Rock albums regularly? When, right after masterpieces by the likes of the SCORPIONS, releases like BONFIRE's "Point Blank" or "Fireworks", FRONTLINE's "Heroes", CASANOVA and JADED HEART's debut albums used to be played all the time on your stereo? Well....now is the time for the Classic German Hard Rock sound, comprised of steel guitar riffs and super melodic hooks, to make a major come back. The new band's name says it all....SUPREMACY. This band marks the return of the amazing alliance between singer Claus Lessmann (ex-BONFIRE) with Michael Voss (CASANOVA, MAD MAX) plus Robby Boebel (ex FRONTLINE, EVIDENCE ONE) on guitar, Axel Kruse (ex-JADED HEART) on drums and former SCORPIONS bass player Francis Buchholz.
The guys are currently working on some extremely promising demo material and have inked a recording contract with Frontiers Music Srl for a release of their debut album in late 2015 / early 2016.
Michael Voss says: "It's a honor to work with all these gifted musicians on a full length album! After 25 years, to join forces with the fantastic Claus Lessmann takes me back into the 80's heyday times playing in Bonfire. We'll keep that spirit alive and moreover revive it. Thanks to Serafino and Frontiers for believing!"
Claus Lessmann adds: "I am really looking forward to writing, recording and rocking with all the guys of Supremacy. We all have so much to give and it really means a lot to me to work together with those talented musicians. It will also bring back the good old days of Rock'n'Roll when my good old friend Michael Voss was on my side all across Europe back at the "Point Blank" days. A big Grazie to Serafino, Mario and all at Frontiers for their belief and for givin' us one more reason to rock! Every little note of our songs will be a piece of our heart."
Award-winning, legendary guitarist Michael Schenker releases a new studio album entitled "Spirit On A Mission" in the UK on Monday 23rd March. Released by in-akustik, the album of all-new material features Schenker’s Temple of Rock band - ex-ScorpionsHerman Rarebell (drums) and Francis Buchholz (bass), ex-Rainbow’s Doogie White (vocals) and Wayne Findlay (guitar, keyboards).
The new album features twelve 12 classic rock guitar-driven songs that highlight Schenker’s distinctive and dynamic guitar playing, valiantly underpinned by the ferocious rhythm section of Rarebell and Buchholz, the same rhythm section that originally performed together on the Scorpions’ 1979 album Lovedrive.
Michael remembers how he came up with the name of the new album - "A while ago I was asked how I wanted to be remembered, and I said ‘as a spirit on a mission, spreading the joy of music from a place of pure self expression."
Scottish vocalist Doogie White, who co-wrote the album with Schenker, soars across every song, and stamps his personality with every note and phrase, while Wayne Findlay adds a new level to Schenker’s classic sound with his Dean 7-string guitar and keyboard arrangements.
Spirit On A Mission is a rapturous, explosive collection of brand new songs steeped in shades of dark and light. Musically and lyrically, the new album shows a re-energised guitarist at the top of his game, surrounded by some of the best musicians in rock.
The new album was recorded at Kidroom Studios, Muenster, Germany; the same studio where 2013’s Bridge The Gap album was recorded. The album was produced by Michael Voss and Michael Schenker, and engineered by Voss.
"After the Bridge The GapJapan Tour in March 2014, I started to put new material together for what was to become the Spirit On A Mission album," says Schenker. I went to the recording studio in June 2014 to put down the song arrangements and we finished recording in November."
During the recording of the new album, the original recordings and guitars were stolen from the recording studio. Did this impact on the recording process of the new album?
"Yes we got robbed (some guitars and some music) and got very upset about it," recalls Schenker. "Fortunately it was just performances and not compositions. We caught up and performed the music better than before. It forced us to work extra hard and longer but it made it stronger."
For Schenker, the songwriting and recording process for Spirit On A Mission was very different from the 2012’s Bridge The Gap album.
Says Schenker - "I already knew ahead of time that I wanted to take Spirit On A Mission to the next level by adding more 7-string guitar on some songs to get more of the low heavy sound, and on other songs to keep it very fast and energetic with melodic vocals and a couple of mid tempo’s with more of my writing like in my UFO days."
"Doogie did an amazing job with his melodies and singing," adds Schenker. "Even though we had our instruments, music and equipment stolen from the recording studio, we had to re-record a lot of his vocals again, but when we did it the second time around, it got even better."
"I asked Wayne to come up with a few cool guitar riffs on his 7 string. I added my parts to it and the outcome was very unique. Again, with the addition of Doogie’s vocals, we entered a whole new place that was an extreme pleasurable experience."
The writing process and overall concept for Spirit On A Mission proved to be a fulfilling experience for Schenker and his band.
Says Schenker - "I always write in the same way but this time, especially driven by a precise concept." The picture was album balance for me and combine many years of emotions in one. I wanted lots of double bass drum to keep the fast songs rolling like a train with lots of energy covered with interesting elements, a couple of my UFO days-type of mid tempos and the 7 string low sound to get a very wide range of sounds and emotions."
Michael’s Temple of Rock shared ideas and collaborated in a bigger way on the new album.
"All songs were co-written by Doogie and myself, "recalls Schenker. "Wayne co-wrote five songs. I originally wanted to write the album as a group effort, but I had this concept that needed to be focused on differently. However, Herman and Francis did very well by adding there amazing Rock You Like A Hurricane rhythm section parts that gave it all it needed.
The new album also sees guitarist and keyboard player, Wayne Findlay, takes on a bigger role.
"Wayne has been with me (MSG) since 1999," says Schenker. "In 2004, I met Dean Guitars and they built me a 7 string. I played it for a while but thought it was too much of a sidetrack from what I was doing."
"I always liked that low sound and asked Wayne to look into developing it on the 7 string. A couple of years ago we started to use a bit of Wayne’s 7 string guitar on Bridge The Gap as a slow introduction. Wayne looks like a Neptune (Ocean God) and he loves the ocean. I saw this as an opportunity to have Dean build him a Trident Guitar in order to make his character complete. I wrote a little piece about Wayne called Neptune Rising on the Bridge The Gap album and now on Spirit On A Mission Wayne was ready to co-write five songs, and has now become an essential part of Temple Of Rock."
"Coincidentally," says Schenker, "former Scorpions members Herman Rarebell and Francis Buchholz and myself were out of the loop of rock’n’roll around the same time, but for different reasons. When we recorded 2013’s Bridge The Gap album, we had not played together since the Scorpions’ Lovedrive album (1979). Sprit On A Mission is the second Temple of Rock album to feature the former Scorpions rhythm section.
Former Rainbow singer Doogie White is described by Schenker as an "extremely creative individual with a fantastic range and a voice that never stops". "How many people do you know that can sing nine shows in a row, without a day off and still have a voice with a range like his?" says Schenker. "He’s a real trooper."
What are Schenker’s favourite songs from Spirit On A Mission, and why?
Says Michael – "I love Live and Let Live because it has everything. I love Vigilante Man because it’s heavy and melodic with a great tempo and sound. Something Of The Night turned out to be a fantastic outcome especially with that spooky Howler sound I developed awhile ago. Saviour Machine is an epic. Rock City, Bullet Proof, Restless Heart - I love the fast melodic stuff, and the other 7 string songs with a touch of ’70s rock."
What are Schenker’s overall plans to promote the new album? Does he plan on touring the album by relentless touring and playing summer festivals?
"Promotion is definitely the next step," says Schenker. "and tour-wise, including Festivals, we will play wherever we can to promote "Spirit On A Mission". I want to make Temple Of Rock its own entity. Right now it is still using the Michael Schenker platform but eventually I want it to stand on its own feet as ‘Temple Of Rock’.

We are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of the sixth Album from SILVER, entitled “Idolized” on 24.10.2014!
The SILVER history began in 2001 when Gary Barden (MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, PRAYING MANTIS, STATETROOPER) and Michael Voss (CASANOVA, BONFIRE, MAD MAX, DEMON DRIVE) first met and started to join forces with Andreas Broon (SISTERS OF MERCY/DORO) to write the songs for the legendary first SILVER album.
Don Airey on keyboards (DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE, RAINBOW, MSG, GARY MOORE), Bernie Torme on guitars (GILLAN, OZZY OSBOURNE) and Marco Minnemann on drums (H-BLOCKX) completed this first line-up.
Now, after 5 successful albums and a very short Break of nearly ten years it's time for a brandnew record! Once again producer Michael Voss team up with songwriter genius Andreas Broon and those guys are really diggin' for gold!
The Billy Idol style rocker "Hope" is the perfect journey into the glorious 80ies. With the empathic opener "Sarah" or the duet with german musical star Michaela Schober on "Drag us down" the SILVER guys add a new dimension to their sound – very british – very cool – something unexpected!
SILVER also comes up with a song that's a classic radio hit, a song that definitely needs to be released as a single – "Counting".
Following 5 Albums with Gary Barden on Vocals, the new album “Idolized” offers a change in that Michael Voss takes over all vocal duties for the first time. Voss also performs all instrumentation on “Idolized”
Special Guests are Lisa Middelhauve (Ex – Xandria) and Michaela Schober.

Over the past 2 years, MICHAEL VOSS and HOLGGY BEGG have created an alternative semi-accoustic two man orchestra live project called BEGGAR'S JAM, based in Switzerland: St. Gallen/Locarno.
The band tours Europe playing at music festivals, in big halls, clubs, local bars and more. From Malaga to Berlin they continue to rock audiences with a unique combination of original songs and selected classic cover.
In the 1980s Michael Voss had great success singing and playing guitar with bands such as Mad Max, Bonfire and Casanova. He is also well known for producing a variety of musicians including Silver, Michael Schenker, Herman Rarebell, Mickie Krause – to name a few. Together with Holggy Begg (Beggar's Bride, Crush-Zac-Begg, Noll), the two men have collaborated for 15 years on projects with musicians like Don Airey, Gary Barden, Mark Schulman, Molly Duncan and Dorkas Kiefer.
Together, MICHAEL VOSS and HOLGGY BEGG rock the stage and are truly a tour de force in the tradition of classic Rock'n Roll. Voss & Begg were also band members of Herman Rarebell's «Acoustic Fever» (Herman Rarebell – noted drummer and songwriter for the Scorpions from 1977-1997).
